Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Strömungskanal für einen Wärmeaustauscher, in dem sich turbulenzerzeugende Erhebungen (1) befinden, die eine Mantelfläche (10) und eine Verbindungsfläche (11) aufweisen, wobei wenigstens einige Erhebungen (1) entweder in einer Wand (4) des Strömungskanals (3) ausgebildet sind und sich an der gegenüberliegenden Wand (5) desselben Strömungskanals (3) abstützen und damit verbunden sind oder in beiden Wänden (4, 5) ausgebildet sind und sich gegenseitig abstützen und miteinander verbunden sind. Die Kühlleistung wird angehoben, wenn die turbulenzerzeugenden Erhebungen (1) erfindungsgemäß mit in den Strömungskanal (3) gerichteten Vorsprüngen (2) bzw. feinen Strukturen versehen sind, die die Ausbildung von Turbulenzen im den Strömungskanal (3) durchströmenden Medium unterstützen.
