Claims (9)

  1. An inking unit (1) for printing units of rotary printing machines, characterised in that the inking unit (1) can be removed from the printing unit and has its own drive (24) for a plurality of rollers (2 to 7), wherein the drive (24) is arranged on the side walls (8; 9) of the inking unit.
  2. An inking unit (1) according to claim 1, characterised in that a dampening unit (10) can be integrated.
  3. An inking unit (1) according to claim 2, characterised in that rollers (11; 12) belonging to the dampening unit (10) can be driven by the drive (24).
  4. An inking unit (1) according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the rollers (2 to 7; 11; 12) are configured as application rollers or distributor rollers.
  5. An inking unit (1) according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the inking unit (1) is configured in a cassette style of construction, can be inserted into and removed from the printing unit by way of guides (14; 15), and can be arranged on positioning elements by means of stops (16; 17).
  6. An inking unit (1) according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the inking unit (1) has interfaces (28) to which the energy supply, machine control and/or data-bus link can be connected.
  7. An inking unit (1) according to one of claims 1 to 6, characterised in that the inking unit (1) has interfaces (27) to which a pressure-medium supply, an ink supply, a dampening-solution supply, temperature-control means can be connected.
  8. An inking unit (1) according to one of claims 1 to 7, characterised in that servo drives (25) and/or pressure-medium-operated working cylinders (26) can be integrated.
  9. An inking unit (1) according to one of the above-mentioned claims, characterised in that the inking unit (1) can be installed and dismantled without tools.
