wenn das Walzeneinbaustück 21 gewechselt ist und sich in der definierten Wechselposition in der obersten Stellung befindet, kann der automatische Ankupplungsvorgang der Wechselplatte 4 anden Baustückblock 5 erfolgen:Dazu wird Zylinder 1 ausgefahren.Die Wechselplatte 4 wirdvon den Bolzen 3 heruntergeschoben und mittels Zentrierbolzen 3' auf dieZentrierbohrungen 11 übergeben, (Fig. 4) wodurch sich die Kupplungsteile exakt miteinander selbst zentrieren.Die Wechselplatte 4 wird anschließendmit dem Spanndorn 30am Baustückblock 5 festgespannt. (Fig. 3)
- 3. In einem weiteren Schritt,
wenn das Walzeneinbaustück 21 nach unten gefahren wird, beispielsweise zur Einstellung des Walzspaltes, wird der Eingriffspilz 13 desZylinders 1von der Aufnahmeöffnung 14der Wechselplatte 4 freigesetzt. Die automatische Medienkupplung ist nun vollkommen frei vom Gerüstständer und festmit dem Walzeneinbaustück 21 verbunden und kann alle Bewegungen des Walzeneinbaustückes 21 mitmachen, weil sie lediglich nur noch mit flexiblen Schläuchen mit dem Walzenständer in Verbindung steht.

Theremovable plate 4 is pushed down by thebolts 3 and transferred by means of centering pins 3 'on the centeringholes 11, (Fig. 4) whereby the coupling parts center themselves exactly with each other. Theremovable plate 4 is then tightened with themandrel 30 on thebuilding block 5. (Fig. 3)

roll chock 21 is driven down, for example, to adjust the roll gap, the engagement of thecylinder 13 of thecylinder 1 is released from the receivingopening 14 of theremovable plate 4. The automatic media coupling is now completely free from the framework stand and firmly connected to theroll chock 21 and can join in all the movements of theroll chock 21, because it is only in connection with flexible hoses with the roll stand.

Claims (6)
- A media couple, including coupling elements for coupling and/or uncoupling the media feed lines located on a roll stand (20) with media connectors of installation members (21) of roll bearings that are displaceable in roll housings, particularly for back-up and working rolls, wherein the coupling elements of the feed and drain lines on the roll stand (20) are constructed so as to be able to be coupled with and uncoupled from media connections for installation members (21) in such manner that a media couple is created that is free of the roll housing and fixed on the roll installation member (21),
characterized in that
the structural member block (5) that is movable vertically in an installation member (21) can be coupled with a coupling mating part (22) that can be disposed on the roll stand (20), which mating part has a changing plate (4) that cooperates with an actuating element particularly in the form of a hydraulic cylinder (1) so as to be movable forwards and backwards for the coupling operation. - The media couple as recited in claim 1,
characterized in that
the free end of the piston rod of the cylinder (1) has an engaging lug (13) that cooperates in coupling manner with the receiving opening (14) in the changing plate (4), and which releases the changing plate when the structural member block (5) is moved backwards. - The media couple as recited in either of claims 1 or 2,
characterized in that
the structural member block (5) is fixed with a threaded connection to the roll installation member (21) and is furnished with a spring-operable return flow valve (17) or throttle piston (12) for closing the oil return aperture (6). - The media couple as recited in one or more of claims 1 to 3,
characterized in that
the changing plate (4) is fumished with guide holes (31) and bolts (3) and with centring bolt (3'), and the structural member block (5) is furnished with corresponding centring holes (11), which are engageable with each other in the coupling operation, and that the two coupling members (5, 22) are constructed so as to be able to be centred with each other. - The media couple as recited in one or more of claims 1 to 4,
characterized in that
it has other coupling transfer elements (24) for various media connections such as water, compressed air, lubricant, etc.. - The media couple as recited in one or more of claims 1 to 5,

after the coupling operation is complete the changing plate (4) may be firmly clamped with a clamping mandrel on the structural member block (5), e.g. via a clamping element (30) that is known per se, particularly with rotatable hammer head.
