Abstract

La présente invention concerne un écran couleur à cristaux liquides adapté aux jumelles de vision nocturne, dans lequel des cellules de cristaux liquides se trouvent dans une matrice. Un filtre rouge, vert et bleu est respectivement associé à trois cellules de cristaux liquides voisines. Ces cellules peuvent être commandées par un dispositif de commande avec des informations de point d'image rouges, vertes et bleues. La luminosité d'un éclairage d'arrière-plan de l'écran couleur peut passer d'une valeur importante en fonctionnement de jour à une valeur faible en fonctionnement de nuit. L'objectif de la présente invention est d'optimiser ledit écran couleur à cristaux liquides adapté aux jumelles de vision nocturne avec des systèmes simples pour le fonctionnement de jour et de nuit. A cette fin, le dispositif de commande (15) comprend des systèmes pour couper la commande des cellules de cristaux liquides à filtres rouges (10) en fonctionnement de nuit.
