Claims (9)

  1. A pistol consisting of a basic housing (1) and a sliding carriage (2) which is displaceably guided thereon and, in cross-section, consists of two side walls (3, 4) and a top wall (5) ' between them, inside of which sliding carriage, at the front thereof, a barrel is guided and therebehind an insert piece (8) containing a firing pin and a striker spring is fastened, characterised in that
    a) the insert piece (8, 108) on the inside, on its side facing the top wall (5; 105) of the sliding carriage (2), forms an open cavity (15; 115) in which guide surfaces (16, 17, 18; 116, 117, 118) for the firing pin (20; 120) are provided,
    b) the firing pin (20; 120) has counter surfaces (26, 27, 28; 126., 127, 128) lying against the guide surfaces (16, 17, 18; 116, 117, 118) of the cavity (15; 115), and on its side facing the top wall (5; 105) of the sliding carriage (2) leaves a free space (24; 121) extending in longitudinal direction between the firing pin (20; 120) and top wall (5; 105),
    c) the free space (24; 121) contains the striker spring (33), the front end (34) of which is supported on the firing pin (20; 120) and the rear end (35) of which is supported on an abutment (14).
  2. The pistol according to claim 1, characterised in that the free space (24) containing the striker spring (33) is laterally delimited only by the side walls (9, 10) of the insert piece (8).
  3. The pistol according to claim 1, characterised in that the free space (24) is a longitudinal groove that is open to the top.
  4. The pistol according to claim 1, characterised in that the guide surfaces (16, 17, 18; 116, 117, 118) of the insert piece (8, 108) and the counter surfaces (26, 27, 28; 126, 127, 128) of the firing pin (20; 120) form three sides of a rectangle.
  5. The pistol according to claim 1, characterised in that the rear wall (14) of the insert piece (8; 108) forms the abutment for the rear end (35) of the striker spring (33) and rests against the rear end (7) of the sliding carriage (2).
  6. The pistol according to claim 5, characterised in that the insert piece (8; 108) is connected to the sliding carriage (2) at two sites by means of horizontal pins (29, 30) or the like which pass through the entire width of the sliding carriage (2).
  7. The pistol according to claim 6, characterised in that the pin (30) or the like at the rear connection point passes through the sliding carriage (2) and the rear wall (14) of the insert piece (8; 108).
  8. The pistol according to claim 5, characterised in that the rear wall (14) of the insert piece (8) has a transverse groove (50) for pushing in the rear sight (51).
  9. The pistol according to claim 5, characterised in that on the rear wall (14) of the insert piece (8; 108) the rear sight (40) is formed as an integral part of the rear wall.
