Pushing inwardly the outer surface of the collapsed box, in particular the middle section 19 and end section 17, forces the side flaps away from their panel and the flaps lock together by means of the indent I. This forms a double blind box that is extremely difficult to re-collapse.
  • the direction of fluting and the provision of two blind ends in the box results in the erected box being inherently strong.
  • one end of a box would be openable to enable items to be placed within the box.
  • the box according to the present invention may be used as a support, for example acting as a display shelf to support goods that are for sale.
  • the box has advantages over the prior art supports, such as its ability to be transported and stored flat until required and its ability to be recycled. It is also made of cheap materials.
  • a preferred application for a box according to the present invention is the construction of a pallet wherein a plurality of boxes are adhered to a top and bottom sheet to provide a pallet that is moveable from a collapsed to an erect state, as described in the Applicant's co-pending application. Any required size of pallet may be provided and the larger the pallet, generally the more boxes that will be used in its construction.

Claims (15)

  1. Wellpappenzuschuitt (2) für den Aufbau einer Konstruktion, wobei die Konstruktion zwei Flauptkörperformplatten (18, 20), eine Mittelplatte (19) zwischen den Körperformplatten und eine Endklappe (17, 21) aufweist, die an einem Ende einer jeden Körperformplatte vorhanden ist, wobei jede Hauptkörpezformplatte und Mittelplatte entgegengesetzte Seitenklappen (11, 22, 14, 25, 13, 24) aufweist und jede Seitenklappe (11, 22, 14, 25) der Hauptkörperformplatten mit einem Einschnitt (I) versehen ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass jede Endklappe eine Länge aufweist, die im Wesentlichen die gleiche ist wie die Länge der Mittelplatte.
  2. Wellpappenzuschnitt nach Anspruch 1, bei dem entgegengesetzte Seitenklappen (11, 22 und 14, 25) einer jeden Hauptkörperformplatte (18, 20) ein Spiegelbild voneinander sind.
  3. Wellpappenzuschnitt nach Anspruch 1 oder Anspruch 2, bei dem benachbarte Seitenklappen (11, 14 und 22, 25) der benachbarten Hauptkörperplatten identisch sind.
  4. Wellpappenzuschnitt nach Anspruch 1, 2 oder 3, bei dem eine der Endklappen (21) mit Seitenklappen (16, 27) versehen ist.
  5. Wellpappenzuschnitt nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, bei dem eine Lasche (12, 23, 15, 26) an jeder der Seitenklappen (11, 22, 14, 25) der Hauptkörperformplatten (18, 20) vorhanden ist.
  6. Wellpappenzuschnitt nach Anspruch 5, bei dem jede Lasche (12, 23, 15, 26) am entlegenen Ende des eingeschnittenen Bereiches (I) einer jeden Seitenklappe vorhanden ist.
  7. Wellpappenzuschnitt nach Anspruch 5 oder Anspruch 6, bei dem eine Linie mit geringer Festigkeit zwischen einer jeden Lasche und ihrer angrenzenden Seitenklappe vorhanden ist.
  8. Wellpappenzuschnitt nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, bei dem jede Seitenklappe der Hauptkorperfonnptatten, Mittelplatte und/oder Endklappe mit einer Ecke, die im Wesentlichen einen rechten Winkel bildet, und einer entgegengesetzten Ecke versehen ist, die schräg abgeschnitten ist.
  9. Wellpappenzuschnitt nach Anspruch 8, bei dem sich jede Lasche, die an den Seitenklappen der Hauptkörperformplatten vorhanden ist, vom schräg abgeschnittenen Ende der Seitenklappe erstreckt.
  10. Wellpappenzuschnitt nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, bei dem die Welle in der Längsrichtung des Zuschnittes vorhanden ist, wobei sie von einer Endklappe (17) zur anderen (21) vorhanden ist.
  11. Wellpappenkonstruktion (10), die aufweist: zwei im Wesentlichen parallele entgegengesetzte Hauptkörperplatten (18, 20) und zwei Paar entgegengesetzte Seitenwände (X, Y), worin eine jede eines Paares von entgegengesetzten Seitenwänden (Y) aus mindestens zwei ineinandergreifenden Abschnitten (11, 14, 22, 25) gebildet wird, wobei die ineinandergreifenden Abschnitte die Konstruktion in die Lage versetzen, aus einem zusammengefallenen Zustand in einen aufgerichteten Zustand beweglich zu sein, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass eine des anderen Paares der entgegengesetzten Seitenwände (X) aus zwei Endklappen gebildet wird, die an einem Ende einer jeden Hauptkörperplatte vorhanden sind, wobei jede Endklappe im Wesentlichen die gleiche Länge aufweist wie ihre entgegengesetzte Seitenwand.
  12. Wellenpappenkonstruktion nach Anspruch 11, konstruiert aus einem Zuschnitt nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 10, indem die geeigneten Abschnitte des Zuschnittes gefaltet und miteinander durch geeignete Mittel gesichert werden.
  13. Wellenpappenkonstruktion nach Anspruch 12, bei der ein Klebstoff verwendet wird, um die Abschnitte des Zuschnittes miteinander zu sichern.
  14. Wellenpappenkonstruktion nach Anspruch 12 oder Anspruch 13, bei der die Seitenklappen (11, 14, 22, 25) der Hauptplatten (18, 20) an den Seitenklappen (13, 24) der Mittelplatte (19) gesichert werden, die Endklappe (17) darüber gefaltet und an einer Hauptplatte gesichert wird und die Seitenklappen (11, 22, 14, 25) der Hauptkörperplatten nicht miteinander gesichert werden.
  15. Wellenpappenkonstruktion nach Anspruch 14, bei der die Seitenklappen der Hauptplatten an den Seitenklappen der Mittelplatte und der Endklappe mittels der Laschen gesichert werden.
