Definitions
- hearing aids With hearing aids, one differentiates between on hearing aids that can be worn in the ear and those that can be worn behind the ear Hearing aid devices. The latter are behind a carrying hook held in the ear and is only in the ear an otoplastic protruding wholly or partially into the ear canal, through which a sound tube is passed.
- a good signal transmission behavior by the respective Hearing aid can only be reached if this is in hearing aid that can be worn in the ear or that can be worn in the ear
- the earmold is in the intended position in the ear canal.
- the hearing aid or the earmold often slips out of the intended position so that an optimal Operation of the hearing aid is no longer guaranteed is. In the worst case, it can even become one the hearing aid or otoplastic completely slides out and a possible loss.
- Difficulties, the hearing aid or the earmold Keeping them in the intended position often occurs in particular in infants, children and in patients with very narrow or very wide ear canals. Beyond that Infants and young children do not have to manually correct a hearing aid slipped out of the optimal position or capable of an otoplastic that is not in an optimal position.
- U1 is a wearable behind the ear Hearing aid known with a carrying hook, in which a the hearing aid connectable holding part is provided, the to improve the mounting of the hearing aid on the ear in the side of the auricle facing away from the head engages.
- a hearing device is known from DE 197 56 992 A1, which has a depression for receiving a battery. This depression has a pole on the bottom, which is designed as a permanent magnet.
- the coat of one Battery body for this hearing aid consists of a magnetic material so that the battery in the depression is held permanently.
- the object of the present invention is to fix a in a hearing aid portable hearing aid or the in an ear canal worn earmold one behind the ear portable hearing aid to improve in the ear.
- This task is carried out with a hearing aid worn in the ear with a housing or a hearing aid with worn in the ear Otoplasty solved by in or on the housing or first magnetic arranged in or on the otoplastic or magnetizable element and one arranged behind the ear or second magnetic implanted in the ear or magnetizable element that is used for holding or fixing the housing or the earmold in the ear with the first interacts magnetic or magnetizable element.
- At least the first or the second magnetic or magnetizable Element is designed as a permanent magnet.
- the each other can be magnetic or magnetizable element either also be designed as a permanent magnet or comprise at least one magnetizable material.
- the first is magnetic or magnetizable element in or on the wearable in the ear Hearing aid or arranged in or on the otoplastic.
- the second magnetic or magnetizable element can, for example be placed behind the ear. However, it can also in the ear, preferably in an area near the ear canal entrance, be implanted. In the latter case is the second magnetic or magnetizable element with to provide a biocompatible envelope so that rejection reactions the body of the hearing aid wearer can be prevented.
- the first magnetic or magnetizable element in the otoplastic and the second magnetic or magnetizable Element in the hearing aid that can be worn behind the ear arranged is the first magnetic or magnetizable element in the otoplastic and the second magnetic or magnetizable Element in the hearing aid that can be worn behind the ear arranged. From an external perspective, this is one such hearing aid according to the invention no difference compared to a conventional one, behind the ear to recognize worn hearing aid.
- the hearing aid worn in the ear or the otoplastic of a hearing aid that can be worn behind the ear fixed in the desired position in the ear canal. This ensures the best possible sound transmission through the Hearing aid guaranteed.
- additional insufficient tools e.g. Duct tape, Headphone hanger or headband, dispensed with as an emergency solution become.
- a hearing aid according to the invention remains so for example, even with sporadic head movements Toddler in the intended location.
- Figure 1 shows a sectional view through the ear when viewed of the head from above.
- the hearing aid 5 which is portable to the ear with an almost complete arranged in the ear canal 3 worn earmold 6.
- the otoplastic 6 is in the for this provided optimal position in the ear canal 3.
- the earmold 6 in this intended position are in the hearing aid 5 as well as 6 permanent magnets 7 in the otoplastic or 8, which are aligned so that they are mutually attract. Due to the magnetic attraction the otoplastic 6 is in the intended position in the ear canal 3 fixed. As a result, the otoplastic 6 itself remains with rapid head movements in the intended position.
- the hearing aid 5 is not conventional from the outside Distinguish hearing aid. Also putting on and removing the hearing aid 5 is carried out as in a conventional one Hearing aid. The hearing aid 5 shown is thus also for use in infants and young children best for.
- Figure 2 shows one worn behind the ear Hearing aid 5 with an otoplastic 6 '.
- the difference The otoplastic 6 'in FIG. 2 is in FIG. 1 but only to a small extent within the ear canal 3.
- the permanent magnets 7 and 8 'an additional holder and fixation of the otoplastic 6' in the ear The otoplastic 6 'also no longer slips unintentionally from the intended, optimal location.
- FIG. 3 shows another exemplary embodiment of the invention.
- the sectional view of the ear corresponds to the representation according to Figure 1.
- a hearing aid 10 that can be worn in the ear.
- This too comprises according to the invention within the hearing aid housing a magnetic or magnetizable element, preferably a permanent magnet 11.
- a magnetic or magnetizable element preferably a permanent magnet 11.
- the magnetic poles are aligned that the permanent magnets 11 and 12 attract each other. Because of the magnetic attraction is the hearing aid device 10 that can be worn in the ear in the auditory canal 3 attached and fixed.
- the permanent magnet 12 is not in FIG. 3 behind the outer ear 1, but is in an area near the Ear canal 3 implanted under the skin. Such an implantation is particularly recommended if due to the hearing loss in the hearing aid wearer is in any case an operation is required. To reject the body prevent, the permanent magnet 12 is advantageous from one Enclosure 13 surrounded by biocompatible material.
- This embodiment also has the advantage that in-the-ear hearing aid 10 according to the invention not from a conventional hearing aid worn in the ear is to be distinguished.
- the permanent magnet 12 is also not visible from the outside due to the implantation.
- the cosmetic Advantages of a hearing aid that can be worn in the ear are therefore still preserved and the handling of the hearing aid device 10 that can be worn in the ear, in particular that Inserting and removing is no different from a conventional hearing aid.
- FIG Figure 4 A modification of the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 3 is shown in FIG Figure 4 shown.
- a concha device 10 'in the ear of the hearing device wearer It is in this embodiment, a permanent magnet 11 'in the Part of the housing of the concha device 10 'arranged, which lies in the concha of the outer ear 1. With appropriate Alignment of the permanent magnets 11 'and 12 also causes here the resulting attraction between the magnets Additional attachment and fixation of the concha device 10 ' in the ear.
- the exemplary embodiments do not necessarily have to two as permanent magnets 7, 8 or 7, 8 'or 11, 12 and 11 ', 12 executed magnetic elements available his. Rather, it is sufficient if one as a permanent magnet executed magnetic element with a magnetizable Element that essentially consists of one magnetizable material, such as iron, cobalt or nickel, consists. It can also be used in the case of an ear Hearing aid the second magnetic or magnetizable Element be arranged behind the ear. The fixation this element behind the ear, for example solely by the magnetic force or by an additional holding element, e.g. a bracket. Furthermore, the second magnetic or magnetizable element 12 also on others implanted in the ear as the location shown, e.g. also in the area of the outer ear.
