Abstract

Es wird beschrieben ein System sowie ein Verfahren zur elektronischen Erhebung von Nutzungsgebühren für wenigstens eine Wegstrecke (30, 40) innerhalb eines geographischen Bereichs (10), die von wenigstens einem mobilen Endgerät innerhalb des geographischen Bereichs (10) zurückgelegt wird, wobei die aktuellen Positionen des wenigstens einen mobilen Endgeräts mittels eines Positions-Ermittlungsverfahrens ermittelt werden. Um bei der Erhebung der Nutzungsgebühren auf einfache und kostengünstige Weise auch Wegstrecken unterschiedlicher Kategorien berücksichtigen zu können, ist erfindungsgemäß vorgesehen, dass die aktuellen Positionen des wenigstens einen mobilen Endgeräts in Form von Positionsdaten an eine Rechnereinrichtung übertragen und in dieser mit Positionsdaten des geographischen Bereichs (10) verglichen werden, wobei die Positionsdaten des geographischen Bereichs (10) zumindest einzelnen Bereichen von Zellbegrenzungen des in eine Anzahl von aneinander angrenzenden, sich nicht überschneidenden Zellen (20) aufgeteilten geographischen Bereichs (10) entsprechen und wobei zumindest der Eintritt des wenigstens einen mobilen Endgeräts in eine oder mehrere Zellen (20) registriert wird, dass in der Rechnereinrichtung elektronisch das Muster der Zellenabfolge, die das wenigstens eine mobile Endgerät durchläuft, ermittelt wird und dass aus dem Muster der Zellenabfolge elektronisch die Höhe der zu erhebenden Nutzungsgebühr berechnet wird.
