Description

The invention relates to a padlock, consisting of a lock case body and a lock bracket, which is received with its strap ends of recesses in the lock case body, wherein a first strap end has a return to block a bow movement in the closed state, according to the preamble of claim 1.

Padlocks in various designs with different locking systems are state of the art.

In known padlocks specially adapted profile cylinder are used. To transmit the rotational movement of the key a variety of specially made closing elements are necessary. From this fact, there is the need for separate production and costly storage of the required variety of parts.

Basically, there are manufacturer-specific solutions, so that a defective lock cylinder manufacturer can not be replaced by a lock cylinder from another manufacturer. This means that no compatibility is given, which ultimately represents a disadvantage for the end user or customer.

As is known, the dimensions of lock cylinders or half-closing cylinders for mortise locks or similar locking systems correspond to German standard DIN 18252. This standard applies inter alia to external dimensions of such locking cylinders, which are interchangeable in principle in accordance with standard-compliant production. In a change of ownership, such as an apartment can therefore easily be replaced with a lock cylinder against a new cylinder, without having to replace or dismantle the entire lock.

From the US-A-2 527 086 For example, a curtain lock is known which comprises a locking mechanism for locking the lock strap. According to the DE 401 045 is a curtain lock known that offers the advantage that when the key is removed, a rifle is given that the lock is really located in the closed position. In the lock body are here three parallel bores, wherein one of the bores receives a sleeve which carries a longitudinal body in the interior, which has grooves.

From the foregoing, it is therefore an object of the invention to provide a further developed padlock, consisting of a lock case body and a lock bracket, the actual locking mechanism should be implemented in a particularly simple manner by standard components, so that the cost in both the production and reduced in the storage of padlocks or lock case bodies and beyond also the possibility exists to include without special components padlocks in locking systems.

The object of the invention is achieved with a padlock, consisting of a lock box body, according to the features of claim 1, wherein the dependent claims represent at least expedient refinements and developments.

Basically, a padlock consists of a lock body box and a lock bracket, which is received with its strap ends of recesses in the lock body box and wherein a first strap end has a recess or a clearance for blocking a bow movement in the closed state. A second bracket end of the lock bracket has a groove for limiting the movement of the bracket in the opening state, i. in the vertical direction.

It is now provided in the opposite to the lock bracket bottom portion of the lock body box a parallel to the bracket ends oriented, inwardly extending recess for full inclusion of a standard half-closing cylinder provided. The quasi-diagonal position of the standard half-closing cylinder 7 in the lock case body 1 allows optimal space utilization with minimized overall dimensions of the box body itself. Claims (8)

1. Padlock comprising a lock casing body (1) and a shackle (2), which is received by cavities in the lock casing body (1) with its ends of the shank (2; 5), wherein a first shank end (3) is provided with an indentation (4) to block shank movement in the locked state, wherein a recess is provided in the bottom of the lock casing body (1) in front of the shackle (2), extending inwards towards the housing for complete housing of a standard locking means (7), oriented parallel to the shank ends (3; 5)and wherein the transverse axis of the standard locking means (7) substantially runs in a diagonal direction with respect to the transverse surface of the lock casing body (1), characterized in that a second shank end (5) is provided with a groove (6) to limit movement of the shank (2) in opened state and, in that the cam (8) of the standard locking means (7) meshes with the indentation (4) of the first shank end (3) in the closed position and the width of the indentation (4) corresponds to the width of the cam.
2. The padlock according to claim 1, characterized in that the length of the shank ends is produced with a locking indentation (4), so that when the shank (2) is pushed in the locking indentation (4) or the gap is located at the height of the cam (8).

The padlock according to claim 4 or 7, characterized in that, in extracted standard locking means (7), the preferably cylindrical shank pin is extractable in order for complete disassembly and removal of the shackle (2) and of the compression spring (10), thereby enabling insertion of shackles (2) of different sizes, in particular different lengths.
