Flushing device for a flushing cistern, with an actuating apparatus (21) and an outlet valve (5) which has a housing (6), wherein the actuating apparatus (21) is connected to a servomotor (18) with which a closure body (7) of the outlet valve (5) can be raised in order to initiate flushing, and wherein the closure body (7) is coupled directly and frictionally to an actuating member (13) of the servomotor (18), characterized in that the servomotor (18) is mounted on a cover (6a) put on releasably to the housing (6) of the outlet valve (5) and in that the closure body (7) is mounted in a vertically displaceable manner in said housing (6).
