Claims (6)

  1. Spray nozzle with a nozzle part (12) for depositing parting compounds onto the mantle surface of a sealing face or a mould in a pressure die-casting machine, whereby on the head (14) of the nozzle part (12) a plurality of outlet channels (20) with axes (b) on a conical mantle surface is provide symmetrical to a nozzle axis (a), and a nozzle headpiece (24) with inner wall (26) running coaxial to nozzle axis (a) is mounted over and, with respect to the direction of spraying, downstream of the nozzle part (12),
    characterised in that,
    the conical mantle surface defined by the spray axes (b) intersects a cylindrical inner wall (30) which is part of the tube-shaped inner wall (26).
  2. Nozzle according to claim 1, characterised in that the inner wall (26) of the nozzle headpiece (24) features, in the direction of spraying, an inner wall part (28) running conically outward, followed by a cylindrical inner wall part (30) then an inner wall part (52) running conically inward.
  3. Spray nozzle according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the spray axes (b) form an angle (α) of 10 to 30° with the nozzle axis (a).
  4. Spray nozzle according to one of the claims 1 to 3, characterised in that it is a nozzle for spraying two substances and the angle (β) of spraying from individual nozzles formed by the outlet channels (20) is at most 25°.
  5. Spray nozzle according to one of the claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the nozzle headpiece (24) is screwed onto, and releasable from, the nozzle part (12).
  6. Use of a spray nozzle (10), according to one of the aforegoing claims, for atomising aqueous parting compound mixtures in the form of a solution, emulsion or suspension, and depositing the atomised parting compound/ water mixture on a mantle surface of a sealing face or core of a casting mould, situated coaxial to the nozzle axis, in a pressure die-casting machine.
