Abstract

The invention relates to an arrangement for a ski binding which can be positioned on a ski, said binding consisting of two parts: a front jaw and a heel holder which can be moved in a sliding manner in the longitudinal direction of the ski in guiding mechanisms which are fixed to the ski, and are connected by means of a connecting element (1) extending in the longitudinal direction of the ski. At least the position of one of the parts of the ski binding can be adjusted in relation to the connecting element (1), and the connecting element (1) can be fixed in relation to the ski. The mutual position of the front jaw and the heel holder can be self-adjusted and fixed on the connecting element (1) in such a way that the front jaw and the heel holder form, together with the connecting element (1), a pre-assembled unit which is separate from the ski, and can be slid along the guiding mechanisms which are fixed to the ski.

Description

The invention relates to an arrangement for a positionable on a ski ski binding with two ski binding parts, a toe and a heel holder, which are slidably in ski longitudinal direction in skifesten guides and connected by means extending in the longitudinal direction of the connecting element, wherein at least the position of the ski binding parts relative to Adjustable connecting element and the connecting element relative to the ski can be fixed.

Such an arrangement, which allows an adjustment of the ski binding to different ski boot sizes and at the same time ensures that a largely unhindered deflection of the ski is possible when driving through depressions or the like, is known for example from AT-B-389 453. The guide element extending without guidance between the toe piece and the heel holder is fixable by means of a receptacle to a locking element which is provided on the ski guide rail for the toe piece. The designed as a metal band connecting element can thus be adjusted relative to the skifesten guide rail receiving the toe. The locking of the metal strip on the guide rail is effected by a rotatably mounted bolt which engages in one of the holes in a series of holes of the metal strip. If the metal strip is to be adjusted relative to the guide rail, then the bolt is rotated by means of a screwdriver so that the end region of the metal strip can be lifted off the bolt. Now the metal band is adjusted to the desired distance of the heel holder to the toe, then put the selected hole on the bolt and the bolt again rotated. For a fine adjustment the distance between the toe and the heel holder is a Verstellraste the heel held against its guide rail, brought the heel holder in the guide rail in the desired position and locked again. The known arrangement is thus complicated in terms of handling and not very comfortable.

Zum Verstellen des Abstandes zwischen dem Vorderbacken und dem Fersenhalter wird ein Riegelstück aus einer Verrastung mit dem Verbindungselement gelöst, worauf das Verbindungselement und der mit diesem fest verbundene Vorderbacken bezüglich dem Arretierelement und dem mit diesem gekoppelten Fersenbacken in Skilängsrichtung verschoben werden können.EP-A-1 181 959, which is a document pursuant to Article 54 (3) EPC, discloses an arrangement of the kind set forth in which, moreover, the mutual position of the toe and heel holder on the connecting element itself is adjustable and fixable, that the toe piece and the heel piece together with the connection element can form a preassembled unit separate from the ski, which unit can be pushed by and onto the ski guides. In this known arrangement, a positioning device is provided with a locking element which is adjustable relative to the ski in the longitudinal direction and can be fixed in a plurality of selectable positions. The locking element and also the connecting element are connected to the rear guide rail. To adjust the distance between the toe and the heel holder a locking piece is released from a latching with the connecting element, after which the connecting element and the fixed thereto fixed to the front jaw with respect to the locking element and coupled thereto heel jaws can be moved in the ski longitudinal direction.

The invention is based on the object to carry out an arrangement of the type mentioned in such a way that it is more comfortable to operate and while maintaining the elastic deformation properties of the ski ensures a simple adaptation of the ski binding to different shoe sizes.

The object is achieved according to the invention in that the connecting element at its central region relative to the ski or is fixed, the mutual position of the toe and heel holder on the connecting element itself and is adjustable and fixable that the toe and the heel holder together form a pre-assembled, separate from the ski unit with the connecting element, which is slidable on the skifesten guides.

This object is achieved according to the invention in that the position of both ski binding parts is adjustable relative to the connecting element, wherein the mutual position of the toe and heel holder on the connecting element itself and adjustable and fixable, that the toe and heel holder together with the connecting element preassembled to form a separate unit from the skis, which slides on the skifeste guides.

The invention enables a very simple and very comfortable handling of the ski binding when adjusting the same to different ski boot sizes and when mounting on the ski. Especially comfortable is the handling of the arrangement according to the invention especially in that the adjustment of the mutual distance of the two ski binding parts can be made separately from the ski, the so "preassembled" unit is only to slide on the ski guides and then the connecting element is set.

The connecting element can be fixed at its middle area opposite to or on the ski. The definition of the preassembled unit is therefore in an easily accessible place. The fastening elements which are not required to be integrated into the region of ski binding parts can thus be made simple and expedient.

In a preferred Ausführugsform of the invention, the determination of the preassembled unit relative to the ski by means of at least one Fastening element, such as a screw, which connects the connecting element with a connection plate mounted on the ski.

In this case, a plurality of attachment points spaced apart in the ski longitudinal direction may be provided for fastening the fastening element, so that the relative position of the ski binding in the longitudinal direction of the ski can be adjusted depending on the ski skill of the user.

The according to a preferred embodiment to be arranged on the ski components of the inventive arrangement should be carried out expedient and simple. In this context, it is advantageous if the plate which can be connected to the connecting element is held between and by two plates adjoining in the longitudinal direction of the ski and which have the guides for pushing on the preassembled unit.

The system of plates and ski binding should, as far as necessary, be able to react flexibly to the different loads during skiing. This is achieved or supported, for example, by virtue of the fact that the plate which can be connected to the connecting element is limitedly tilted relative to the one plate adjoining in the longitudinal direction of the ski and is mounted so as to be longitudinally movable in a limited manner relative to the other plate adjoining in the longitudinal direction of the ski.

A firm and secure connection of the preassembled unit of ski binding and connecting element with respect to the ski can be achieved by simple measures and also by a simple operation. In this regard, a preferred embodiment provides that in the connection plate, a fastening part is inserted or included, which is provided with the fastening points for the fastening element, and that arranged on the upper side of the connecting element, a receiving element for the fastening element, for example clipped.

In an arrangement according to the invention, it can be advantageously provided that the ski, together with the plates, form a preassembled unit, which is delivered in this form to the sporting goods trade. This eliminates the dealer a cumbersome and complex installation of binding parts on the ski.

This advantage also has an alternative embodiment, in which the guides and / or the attachment points for the preassemblable unit of ski binding parts and connecting element in the ski, in the manufacture thereof, are integrated. This offers the ski manufacturer the ability to optimally coordinate ski and binding, but on the other hand, connected with a certain effort in the production of the ski.

In order to ensure a Schubandruck when the ski boot is provided, it is provided that the connecting element is fastened at least in the region of one of the ski binding parts on a locking part against which the ski binding on its ski guide against the force of at least one spring is displaced backwards, so when inserting a Ski boot in the binding a Schubandruck is buildable.

According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the position of the ski binding part is adjustable relative to the locking part over a limited range and changeable. This allows a certain readjustment of the position of the ski binding part with already mounted on the ski binding and it can also the Schubandruck, if this should be too large or too small, be corrected accordingly.

The components of the mechanism for readjustment are arranged and executed in a simple and functionally reliable manner when the thrust spring (s) is supported with its one end to a skibindungsfesten part, for example a base plate, and with its other end to or in a pen holder or are, whose position on the locking part limited in the longitudinal direction adjustable and can be fixed.

The locking part, with which the connecting element is locked to adapt the binding to the respective shoe size, should allow the locking of the connecting element in a simple manner. In this context it is of Advantage, when the locking part is a plate-shaped part and on a support plate on which the other ski binding parts, in particular the base plate are fixed and which is displaceable on the ski guide, limited longitudinally displaceable, and when the locking part has means for locking the connecting element For example, two limited by a recess gears, which are accessible from the underside of the support plate.

To adjust the spring holder this is preferably coupled to an adjustment, which has latching elements which are latched to the locking member even in different positions.

The invention also relates to a ski and a ski binding, which are provided with an arrangement according to the invention.

In the following description and the claims, the term "longitudinal direction", "longitudinally movable" or "longitudinally displaceable" means a direction parallel to the ski longitudinal direction, under "front" the direction in which the front ski binding part, under "backward" the direction, in which the rear ski binding part is understood.

The arrangement according to the invention is provided for fixing or positioning a ski binding having a toe piece and a heel holder on a ski. The toe and the heel holder can be designed in any desired and in particular in the usual way, so that in Fig. 1, only a base plate 6 of the toe and a base plate 7 of the heel holder are shown. The base plates 6, 7 are arranged on support plates 4, 5 or connected to these support plates 4, 5. Both provided for the base plate 6 of the front jaw support plate 4, and provided for the base plate 7 of the heel holder 5 support plate 5 are executed at its two longitudinally extending edge regions in the form of L - shaped guide rails 2, 3, to postpone the Support plates 4, 5 on arranged on the ski plates 17 18, whose configuration will be discussed below, to allow.

An essential part of the arrangement according to the invention is a particular designed as a metal band connecting element 1, which connects the support plate 4 of the toe with the support plate 5 of the heel holder. The devices causing this connection are designed such that the mutual distance of the support plate 4 of the front jaw to the support plate 5 of the heel holder and thus the mutual distance of the ski binding parts is selectable and adjustable.

An embodiment of a corresponding Verrasteinrichtung Fig. 2. The Verrasteinrichtung shown is that for the support plate 4 of the front jaw, which provided in the region of the support plate 5 of the heel holder Verrasteinrichtung can be designed consistently. As shown in Fig. 2, in the support plate 4 in the middle of a longitudinally extending recess 4a is formed. The edges 4 a longitudinally delimiting and mutually parallel aligned with the recess are each provided with a toothing 4b. At the end region of the connecting element 1, a locking element 11 provided with counter toothings 11a and actuatable via a lever 10 is movably arranged. The connecting element 1 can be inserted with a corresponding position of the locking element 11 in the central recess 4a of the support plate 4. As soon as the desired position has been reached, an engagement of the counter teeth 11a of the locking element 11 in the teeth 4b and thus a firm connection of the support plate 4 with the connecting element 1 is created by a rotation of the lever 10. On the connecting element 1 applied, not shown scales allow an exact adjustment of the mutual distance of the ski binding parts to the length of the ski boot.

In the middle region of the connecting element 1, a receiving element 13 for a fastening screw 15 is arranged on the upper side thereof. The receiving element 13 and the connecting element 1 are each provided with a receiving hole for the screw 15. The receiving element 13, which consists in particular of plastic, can be clipped onto the connecting element 1, the associated embodiments of the receiving element 13 and the connecting element 1 are familiar to the expert.

Die mittige Ausnehmung 25a und die ihre Längskanten begrenzenden Verzahnungen 25b entsprechen der in Fig. 2 gezeigten Ausnehmung 4a und den Verzahnungen 4b.Fig. 3 and Fig. 4 show a further embodiment of the type of connection of the connecting element 1 in the region of the heel holder. The support plate 5 ', on which, as already mentioned, the base plate 7 of the heel holder is attached, is here centrally with a in the longitudinal direction of the support plate 5' extending recess 23 is provided. In the recess 23 from the top of the support plate 5 'an elongated locking member 25 is inserted, which, as shown in FIG. 4, is provided with a central recess 25 a, whose extension coincides with the extent of the recess 23 in the support plate 5' and their Longitudinal edges with teeth 25 b is provided. The central recess 25a and the teeth 25b delimiting their longitudinal edges correspond to the recess 4a shown in FIG. 2 and the toothings 4b.

In Fig. 4 is a relatively large part of the base plate 7, which covers the other components shown, omitted or broken away to arrangement and Design of the otherwise covered by the base plate 7 components to recognize.

The locking part 25 is provided in the region of its outer longitudinal edges in each case with a - side wings 27, of which in Fig. 4, the one can be seen. The side wings 27 are abgestüzt on sliding surfaces 28 of the support plate 5 ', so that the locking member 25 relative to the base plate 7 and the support plate connected thereto 5' longitudinally slidably or in the longitudinal direction is slidably. Thus, the other arranged on the base plate 7 or connected to this components of the heel holder, not shown, together with the support plate 5 'relative to the locking part 25, as will be described in more detail, longitudinally movable. The extent of the longitudinal mobility is limited by stops formed on both sides on the underside of the base plate 7, not shown.

Fig. 3 shows the connecting element 1 in its latched on the locking part 25 position in which a at this end region of the connecting element 1 in accordance with the embodiment of FIG. 2 formed not to see latching element which is actuated via the lever 10, not with his here to be seen ratchet teeth in engagement with the two teeth 25b.

As shown in FIG. 4, a spring holder 29, which is only partially shown, is inserted or inserted from the upper side into the latching part 25 in such a way that it is longitudinally displaceable relative to the latching part 25. In the position shown in Fig. 4, however, the spring holder 29 is in a fixed position on the locking part 25. The spring holder 29 forms a kind of housing for the arrangement of and which forms an abutment for two thrust springs 31 designed as helical compression springs. In FIG. 4, only one of the thrust springs 31 is indicated by dashed lines. The thrust spring 31 is received in a receiving recess of the spring holder 29 and is supported with its one end on the rear wall 29 a of the spring holder 29. With their other end, the thrust springs 31 are supported on abutment surfaces 7a or the like formed on the outer base plate 7. At the outer end region of the wall 29a of the spring holder 29, the spring holder 29 is coupled to an adjusting catch 30, which subsequently projects beyond the rear end of the heel holder or the base plate 7 to a latching plate 30a Actuator 30b, which allows actuation of Verstellraste 30 by hand. As shown particularly in FIG. 4a, a few pairs of latching projections 30c are formed on the lower side of the latching plate 30a, which can be brought into engagement with latching openings 25c, which are likewise arranged in pairs, at the rear end region of the latching part 25.

Fig. 4 shows the latched position of the Verstellraste 30, in which the thrust springs 31 due to their arrangement exert a moment of force, which presses the Verstellraste 30 in its latched position. The type of coupling of the Verstellraste 30 on the spring holder 29 is designed such that the Verstellraste 30, without being released from the spring holder 29, by means of the actuator 30b can be raised so far that their locking projections 30c disengage from the detent openings 25c of the locking member 25 can. The base plate 7 of the heel holder, which covers and engages over the spring holder 29, holds it from above, but can be moved relative to the spring holder 29 together with the other components of the heel holder and the support plate 5 'limited in the longitudinal direction.

The arranged on the ski, not shown plates 16, 17, 18 are shown in Fig. 5. The centrally located, relatively narrow connecting plate 16 is held and overlapped in the connection area to the plates 17, 18 each of two tongue-like approaches. In this case, the configuration of the connection areas of the connecting plate 16 to the plates 17, 18 such that the connecting plate 16 with respect to the one plate 17, 18 limited tilting and relative to the other plate 17, 18 is limited longitudinally displaceable. In the connecting plate 16, an elongate fastening part 12 is centrally integrated, for example, inserted from below. The fastening part 12 is provided with a number of receiving holes 12 a, in particular three holes 12 a, for receiving the fastening screw 15. The receiving holes 12 a are aligned in the longitudinal direction of the guide plate 14, in particular equally spaced and accessible from the top of the connecting plate 16 via an elongated opening 19.

Die in Längsrichtung verlaufenden Seitenränder der Platten 17, 18 bilden Führungen für die Führungsleisten 2, 3 der Tragplatten 4, 5.The attachment of the side plates 17, 18 on the ski, not shown, by means not shown screws. In the embodiment shown are for Fixing each plate 17, 18 requires two pairs of screws, Figure 3 shows the paired mounting holes 20, 21. The mounting holes 20 are provided near the connection plate 16 and formed for the usual fixed attachment. The further pairs of fastening holes 21 formed at the front and at the rear end region of the plates 17, 18 are elongated holes. Due to the screws positioned approximately centrally in the oblong holes, the plates 17, 18 are held on the ski, but a certain mobility of the plates 17, 18 in relation to the ski is permitted. The longitudinal side edges of the plates 17, 18 form guides for the guide rails 2, 3 of the support plates 4, fifth

The ski is preferably already provided at the ski manufacturer with the plates 16,17,18 and thus delivered together with them. This also has the advantage that the design of the plates 16, 17, 18 can be adapted to the ski design. As an alternative to separate plates 16, 17, 18, however, can be provided by the ski manufacturer also to integrate the guides for the support plates 4, 5 and the connection point for the connecting element 1 in the construction of the ski or in the structure of the ski. The desired and required mobility of the ski is ensured by the use of suitable materials and in coordination with the connecting element 1.

As is apparent from the following description, an arrangement according to the invention is very simple and very comfortable to handle.

To mount the ski binding on the ski, the two located on the support plates 4, 5 ski binding parts, heel holder and toe, via the connecting element 1 coupled together. In this case, for the time being, the mutual distance of the front jaw to the heel holder or the mutual distance of the two support plates 4, 5 adjusted according to the length of the ski boot to be used by pressing the Verrasteinrichtungen. The two ski binding parts thus form with the connecting element 1 a preassembled unit, which is now pushed over its guide rails 2, 3 on the plates 17, 18, which are already attached to the ski. Are the screw holes of the connecting element 1 and the receiving element 13 in alignment with one of the Fixing holes 12 a of the fixing part 12, the fixing screw 15 is screwed firmly on the fixing part 12 and thus the connecting element 1 is connected to the connecting plate 16. In this case, the fastening screw 15 makes no connection to the ski. By choosing one of the three fastening holes 12a in the fastening part 12, the relative position of the ski binding in the longitudinal direction of the ski, whether a little further forward or a little further back, in particular depending on the skiing ability of the user, can be adjusted.

In order to adjust the distance between the two ski binding parts to a ski boot other length, the central attachment is achieved by screwing the mounting screw 15, pushed the unit of ski binding parts and connecting element 1 of the guide plate 14 and changed in the manner already described, the mutual distance of the two ski binding parts. Subsequently, the unit of ski binding parts and connecting element 1, as also already described, again mounted on the ski.

In the embodiment shown in Fig. 4, a Schubandruck is guaranteed when inserting the ski boot in the ski-mounted binding on the thrust springs 31, as the ski boot when entering the heel holder together with the support plate 5 'relative to the attached to the ski plate 18 and against the Force the thrust springs 29 moves slightly backwards. The size of the Schubandruckes can be read via a coupled with the travel display from the outside using a corresponding scale. Now, after mounting the binding on the ski checking the position of the ski binding by inserting the ski boot too large or too low compression of the thrust 31 can easily be made a corresponding adjustment by the locking of Verstellraste with the locking part 25 by a lifting of the actuating element 30b is achieved by moving the heel holder together with the support plate 5 'relative to the skifesten plate 18, the correct position is adjusted and the Verstellraste 30 is locked in the desired position again. For this readjustment, it is therefore not necessary to remove the unit of ski binding parts and connecting element of the ski again or dismantle.

Due to the arrangement according to the invention, a deflection of the ski which is advantageous for reliable release of the ski binding when passing through depressions and the like is made possible and thus prevents undesired stiffening of the ski in the region of the ski binding.

Not shown and described are various cover elements which cover the plates 17, 18, in particular in the region of the mounting holes 20, 21 and the receiving element in the central region of the connecting element 1, as well as the ski binding parts engageable tread plates and the like.
