Abstract

An air conditioner comprising a first heat exchanging unit which functions as an evaporator or a condenser of a refrigerant passing through the inside, a second heat exchanging unit which is connected in series to the first heat exchanging unit and functions as the evaporator or the condenser of the refrigerant passing through the inside, a pressure adjustment mechanism which connects the first heat exchanging unit to the second heat exchanging unit in series, and can adjust the pressure of the refrigerant so that either the first heat exchanging unit or the second heat exchanging unit functions as the evaporator, and the other unit functions as the condenser, and a humidifying means which guides condensate adhered to an outer surface of the first heat exchanging unit to the vicinity of an outer surface of the second heat exchanging unit, and humidifies the conditioned air after the heat exchange by the second heat exchanging unit.
