Abstract

An air conditioner is reduced in size as a whole by making a humidity adjustment unit as small as possible. The air conditioner (1) has the humidity adjustment unit (2) for adjusting the humidity of air and a temperature adjustment unit (8) for adjusting the temperature of the air. The humidity adjustment unit (2) has a casing (20) for humidity adjustment, first and second adsorption heat exchangers (14, 15) for adjusting the humidity of air in the casing (20) for humidity adjustment, and an electric unit (19) for humidity adjustment. The temperature adjustment unit (8) has a casing (80) for temperature adjustment placed next to the casing (20) for humidity adjustment and also has a heat exchanger (94) for temperature adjustment received in the casing (80) for temperature adjustment and adjusting the temperature of air. The electric unit (19) for humidity adjustment has heat radiation fins (19a) for radiating produced heat and is placed in an air path in the casing (80) for temperature adjustment.
