Abstract

Beim Anspinnen eines Fadens (F) bringen zwei Hilfswalzenpaare (20, 21) das Fadenende (E) in eine Bereitschaftsstellung (P) innerhalb des Wirkungsbereichs einer in die Offeriend-Spinnvorrichtung (10) eintretenden Saugluftströmung und werden dann unter Aufrechterhaltung der Fadenklemmung stillgesetzt. Durch erneutes Antreiben des weiter von der Offenend-Spinnvorrichtung (10) entfernten zweiten Hilfswalzenpaares (21) in Rücklieferrichtung wird zwischen den beiden Hilfswalzenpaaren (20, 21) ein Fadenüberschuss gebildet, der mit Hilfe eines pneumatischen Fadenspeichers (23) zwischengespeichert wird. Das zweite Hilfswalzenpaar (21) wird nun stillgesetzt. Das näher bei der Offenend-Spinnvorrichtung (10) angeordnete erste Hilfswalzenpaar (20) öffnet sich. Anschließend wird die Wirkung der Luftströmung im Fadenspeicher (23) mittels einer Stellvorrichtung (4) aufgehoben oder in ihrer Wirkrichtung umgekehrt. Der hierdurch freigegebene Faden (F) wird durch die in die Offenend-Spinnvorrichtung (10) eintretende Saugluftströmung der Fasersammelfläche (101) zugeführt und von dort unter Einbindung von Fasern bis zur Übergabe an ein Hauptabzugswalzenpaar (13) mit Hilfe des zweiten Hilfswalzenpaares (21) wieder abgezogen. Bei Einsatz eines Spinnrotors mit geändertem Durchmesser wird die Größe des zwischengespeicherten Fadenüberschusses mit Hilfe einer Einstellvorrichtung (30) an diesen geänderten Durchmesser angepasst.
