Maximal 2 x 2 Pontons (jeweils mit der Abmessung von 220 x 35 m und einer Block-stow-Kapazität von bis zu 1600 TEU) können wechselseitig zu den Feederschiffen beladen bzw. gelöscht werden und dienen als ein Prestack, der in den jeweiligen Einzelmanövern nur einmal zwischen Stacking Area und Liegepositionen des Großcontainerschiffes und v.v. mit den Festmachlokomotiven verholt wird und somit sämtliche horizontale Containerbewegungen mit den dazugehörigen Investitionen an Flächen und Equipment eines konventionellen Container-Terminals ersetzt.
Die Containerladebrücken können wechselseitig auch nach Ablegen des Großcontainerschiffes am Stack genutzt oder ergänzt werden. 2. Flexible ITSS and shore-side operation over pontoons

Die gleichzeitige ITSS und landseitige Operation mit den nach ITSS vorgesehenen Hochleistungscontainerbrücken wird alle herkömmlichen Umschlagsleistungen weit übertreffen.3.Mixed ITSS feeder operation and onshore conventional container loading
