Abstract

The wash basin (2) has an associated illumination device (3) with a number of light sources (5), positioned on the outside of the basin. The latter is made of a transparent plastics material (4) for illuminating its interior. The light sources are either LEDs or LV halogen lamps.

Description

The invention relates to sinks with a drainage pipe for washing or washing of hair, wherein a lighting device is provided with a plurality of light emitters to illuminate an interior of the sink.

A basin forming the type of the preamble of claim 1 is known from WO 01/73227 A1.

Another washbasin with a drain pipe with a lighting device is known from DE 201 05 708 U1, in which a plurality of light emitters are embedded in the washbasin to illuminate an interior of the washbasin. This is to avoid that lead by a conventional lighting in a hair salon deficient lighting conditions to light shadow at the back of the head, making a professional rinsing or washing of hair is difficult because it is difficult to see whether all rinsing or detergent residues rinsed out of the head hair or are washed out. In order to admit the light emitters in the sink, appropriate holes through a pool wall are required and must be manually attached waterproof, which is very expensive. In addition, no uniform illumination is given to the back of the head by the spaced light emitters.

The invention is based on the object to provide a generic same sink with a drain pipe that allows a simple installation of a connection of the lighting device with the sink.

This object is achieved according to the characterizing features of claim 1. Further embodiments / embodiments of the invention according to claim 1 will become apparent from the dependent claims.

Fig. 1 shows a sink 2 for rinsing or washing of hair, wherein a lighting device 3 is provided with a plurality of light emitters 5 to illuminate an interior 14 of the sink 2. The washbasin 2, which is provided with a fitting 15 and a hand shower 16, consists of a translucent material 4, wherein the light emitters 5 of the lighting device 3 are arranged outside the washbasin 2, that at least a portion 11 of an outer side 6 of the sink 2 with Light 12 can be acted upon. As a material 4 glass 4.1 or plastic 4.2 is optionally provided, which may consist of opaque material 4.3 for the purpose of a large light scattering. But it can also be provided for the purpose of a large light scattering to provide the outside 6 with a matting 8. A cost-effective production and easy installation of the light emitter 5 is achieved; in that the light emitters 5 are combined as a structural unit 7, the light emitters 5 with corresponding connections with one another forming a basket-like shape as structural unit 7. The assembly 7 is connected by means of a connecting part 13 on the outside with a drain pipe 17. As a mechanical protection of the light emitter 5 and optionally also as anti-glare is provided that the light emitter 5 are provided with an outer panel 9.
As a light emitter 5 - preferably white emitting - 5.1 or low-voltage halogen lamps 5.2 can be provided. The washbasin 2 may be provided as a backwash basin 10, which may be formed into a backwash 1.

It can be provided to make the outer panel 9 and the sink 2 together in one piece from the translucent material 4.

Claims (9)

1. Wash basin (2) with an outlet pipe (17) for rinsing or washing hair on the head, in conjunction with which a lighting arrangement (3) is provided with a plurality of light radiators (5) for the purpose of illuminating an interior space (14) of the wash basin (2), in that the wash basin (2) consists of a transparent material (4), and in that the light radiators (5) of the lighting arrangement (3) are arranged outside the wash basin (2) in such a way that at least a partial area (10) of an external side (6) of the wash basin (2) is capable of being subjected to light (11), characterized in that the light radiators (5) are included as a constructional unit (7) with a basket-like form, in conjunction with which the constructional unit (7) is connected to the outlet pipe (17) externally by means of a connecting part (13).
2. Wash basin according to Claim 1, characterized in that glass (4.1) or plastic (4.2), as preferred, is proposed as a material (4).
3. Wash basin according to Claim 1, characterized in that an opaque material (4.3) is proposed.
4. Wash basin according to Claim 1, characterized in that the outside (6) is provided with a matt finish (8).
5. Wash basin according to Claim 1, characterized in that the light radiators (5) are provided with an external cladding (9).
6. Wash basin according to Claim 1, characterized in that the light radiators (5) exhibit a light-emitting diode (5.1) or a low-voltage halogen lamp (5.2).
7. Wash basin according to Claim 1, characterized in that the wash basin (2) is provided as a backwash basin (10).
8. Wash basin according to Claim 7, characterized in that the backwash basin (10) is configured as a backwash installation (1).
9. Wash basin according to Claim 6, characterized in that the external cladding (9) and the wash basin (2) are manufactured together in a single piece from the transparent material (4).
