Claims (10)

  1. Demining device (1) intended to equip a civil or military vehicle (2), composed of at least one chassis (4), a plough (5) and running gear (7), characterised in that it incorporates folding or removable expanders (12) positioned at the extremities of the plough (5).
  2. Demining device according to Claim 1, characterised in that the expanders (12) are linked to the plough (5) by a pivot type link and wherein they may be placed and held in two separate positions, a first position in which they are folded back with respect to the plough, and a second position in which they extend the plough.
  3. Demining device according to Claim 1, characterised in that the expanders (12) are independent elements which may be fastened to the plough (5) so as to extend it.
  4. Demining device according to Claim 2 or 3, characterised in that the expanders (12) are sufficiently large for the total width (L) of the plough and the expanders (12) extending it to exceed that of the vehicle's full width (G) .
  5. Demining device according to Claim 4, characterised in that it incorporates several magnetic coils (13) able to create a magnetic field.
  6. Demining device according to any one of the above Claims, characterised in that it incorporates a system (11) to physically mark out the de-mined itinerary.
  7. Device according to Claim 6, characterised in that the marking system (11) may be removed or retracted.
  8. Demining device according to any one of the above Claims, characterised in that it incorporates a tow bar (9) enabling the device to be towed by a vehicle.
  9. Demining device according to any one of the above Claims, characterised in that it incorporates a command control box (10) incorporating a link with the vehicle (2) so as to enable the exchange of data, orders, and/or signals with the vehicle (2).
  10. Demining device according to Claim 9, characterised in that the box (10) incorporates a power generation and/or storage system.
