Definitions
- the invention relates to a hearing aid system with a page-specific trained left hearing aid to wear behind the left ear and a side-trained one right hearing aid to wear behind the right ear.
- EP 0 499 699 B1 describes a wearable behind the ear Hearing aid with several sound entry openings and at least two microphones, optionally using an electronic Switch connected individually or in parallel can be connected to an amplifier.
- the Change directional characteristic by an electrical circuit.
- To improve directional hearing is one of the DE 199 08 194 C1 known hearing aid that can be worn behind the ear with at least one of at least two microphones existing microphone system provided that the sound entry opening at least one microphone from the head of the hearing aid wearer is aligned laterally.
- To improve the Alignment and the fit of the wearable behind the ear Hearing aid is on the housing wall facing the head (Housing shell) provided by a molding or by the entire hearing aid housing to the direction of view of the hearing aid wearer is pivoted there.
- US Pat. No. 6,327,370 includes a hearing aid that can be worn in the ear known a microphone arrangement in which four sound inlet openings are arranged in a straight row.
- the object of the present invention is the directivity to improve with a hearing aid that can be worn behind the ear.
- a hearing aid system with a left hearing aid designed specifically for wearing behind the left ear and a side-trained one right hearing aid to wear behind the right Ear, the hearing aids each having at least one housing and comprise a microphone system arranged in the housing, the microphone system having at least three sound entry openings are assigned in the housing, the sound inlet openings at least essentially along a straight line are arranged and the respective straight line in the behind the left or behind the right ear hearing aid compared to a symmetrically designed hearing aid to the straight line of sight of a hearing aid wearer is pivoted.
- Hearing aid devices usually wear behind the ear a symmetrical housing shape. This allows you to choose to be worn on both the left and right ear. Also have modern hearing aids that can be worn behind the ear Twin or multi-microphone systems (microphone systems with two or more microphones), with the help of directional microphones with - in relation to the hearing aid housing - to the front directed dipoles (sensitivity lobes) are formed. With a symmetrical housing shape, the forward facing Dipoles in worn hearing aids due to the anatomy of the head in a natural way, that the most sensitive point of these dipoles is in one Angles of approx. 25 ° to 45 ° in relation to the straight line of sight of the hearing aid wearer.
- the dipoles again in the direction of the straight line of sight of the hearing aid wearer pivoted.
- the rotation of the dipoles caused by wearing on the head can be due to the asymmetrical, physiognomic to the head and structure of the hearing aid devices adapted to the ears of the hearing device wearer regarding the arrangement of the sound inlet openings of the microphones are partially or fully compensated. This makes it easy to pick up the sound from the front improved how this even without a hearing aid is achieved through the natural shape of the auricle.
- the directional lobe resulting from the invention is opposite a symmetrical hearing aid when the hearing aid is worn aligned more in the direction of view of the hearing aid wearer and thus enables an improved understanding of language or useful sound.
- the special arrangement the sound inlets and depending on the underlying Order of the directional dipole, for example in a microphone system second order between 0.5 dB and 1 dB Directionality (bundling dimension) compared to a symmetrical one Hearing aid can be obtained. For microphone systems higher Order is even more profitable.
- the sound entry openings of the microphones one behind the Ear-portable hearing aid according to the invention are - at least approximately - arranged along a straight line. This straight line is advantageous when the hearing aid is worn in Straight view of the hearing aid wearer aligned.
- a hearing aid in accordance with FIG the invention with the hearing aid worn and looking straight ahead the sound inlet openings, or one through the sound inlet openings straight line, in a horizontal Level.
- the sensitivity club agrees worn hearing aid better in the horizontal direction with the straight line of sight of the hearing aid wearer.
- the Invention For aligning the sound entry openings of the microphones with a hearing aid that can be worn behind the ear, the Invention several ways. So are in one embodiment the invention of the housing of the left hearing aid as well as the housing of the right hearing aid - at least in the area of the sound inlet openings - page-specific educated. So is already advantageous through the shape of the housing the arrangement of the sound inlet openings fixed. The disadvantage, however, is the requirement of two different ones Manufacture housing for left and right hearing aid to have to.
- the housing of a hearing aid that can be worn behind the ear of the invention in a modular manner. It sits down the housing consists of a base module and a microphone module, the base module being symmetrical and the microphone module is specific to the page.
- Microphone modules in a simple way hearing aids manufactured with different functional features become. For example, hearing aid with three or four microphones are offered, which are only at distinguish the microphone modules.
- Another embodiment of the invention provides that in a hearing aid system with a left and a right Hearing aid according to the invention in symmetrical hearing aid housings only the sound inlet openings are page-specific are arranged in the respective housing. This leaves yourself, for example, by housing with an at least in the area of the sound entry openings of the microphones essentially reach wedge-shaped cross-section.
- Such a hearing aid is on the front when the hearing aid is worn, in the direction of view, lying on the housing side is essential narrower than on the rear side of the housing.
- the housing is essentially identical can only be in the arrangement of their Distinguish sound entry openings for the microphones. These can then also be used advantageously, e.g. by drilling into the prefabricated housing.
- Another embodiment of the invention provides that the microphones of a hearing aid according to the invention a microphone carrier are arranged.
- This is particularly so in conjunction with hearing aids with a symmetrical housing for the left and right hearing aids and only more page specific Arrangement of the sound inlet openings advantageous, since this is the side-specific form of the hearing aids solely through a page-specific arrangement of the Microphones can be effected on the respective microphone carrier can.
- To produce different left and right Hearing aids are therefore only different Microphone units with one microphone carrier each and multiple microphones required.
- the microphone carriers are designed specifically for the page. Thereby can be easily different microphone units with several microphones and a microphone carrier for Manufacture left or right hearing aids.
- an acoustician can also advantageously several different embodiments of hearing aid systems maintain according to the invention. For example Hearing aids that rotate the dipole by 15 °, 20 ° or 25 ° compared to symmetrical hearing aids, be held up. Depending on the individual anatomical conditions the hearing aid wearer can then for optimal hearing aid system can be selected.
- Figure 1 shows a schematic, highly simplified representation a hearing aid system 1, 2 with a designated behind the left ear worn hearing aid 1 and one behind hearing aid worn in the right ear 2.
- a conventional behind-the-ear hearing aid with a Directional microphone system is the one with regard to the hearing aid housing forward-facing dipole of the directional microphone system, its alignment, in particular by a through the Sound entry openings of the microphone extending straight line determined is, usually at an angle between 25 and 45 ° with respect to the straight line of sight 3 of a hearing aid wearer 4 laterally pivoted outwards.
- the hearing aid system 1, 2 according to the invention.
- the orientation of the dipoles 5A, 5B can be advantageous - at least approximately - also with the straight line of sight 3 be brought into line. It is even possible through the sound inlet openings 6A, 6B, 6C or 7A, 7B, 7C of the microphones 8A, 8B, 8C or 9A, 9B, 9C aligning straight lines, as shown in FIG. 1, that they intersect in front of the hearing aid wearer 4.
- the invention thus enables the Wearing behind the left or right ear caused Partial or rotation of the dipoles of the directional microphone systems to fully compensate.
- FIG. 2 shows a hearing aid device 10 that can be worn behind the ear in modular design.
- the hearing aid device 10 comprises a basic module 11 with a battery chamber 12 for arranging a battery 13 for the power supply of the hearing aid device 10, a signal processing electronics 14 and an MTO switch 15 for Switching off the hearing aid (switch position O) and to Switching the reception between the microphone (switch position M) and telephone coil (switch position T).
- the hearing aid device 10 comprises a microphone module 16 with three Sound entry openings 17A, 17B, 17C.
- the microphone module 16 is particularly through the sound inlet openings 17A, 17B, 17C specifically designed for the page.
- Figure 2 shows a microphone module 16 for a designated behind the left ear worn hearing aid, since the microphone module shown 16 only on the left, shown in the drawing Sound inlet openings of the microphones are located on the side of the housing.
- the microphone module 16 further comprises a receiver 19 for conversion back an electrical output signal into an acoustic Output.
- the sound inlet openings 17A, 17B and 17C are arranged along a straight line 20.
- Farther is the housing of the microphone module 16 designed so that it Relatively in the area of the rear sound inlet opening 17C wide and in the area of the front sound inlet 17A is relatively narrow. This will make the through the three sound inlet openings 17A, 17B and 17C extending Just 20 when the hearing aid 10 is worn to the viewing direction the hearing aid wearer pivoted.
- a microphone module for an intended behind the right Ear-worn hearing aid is according to the microphone module 16 formed in mirror image and also causes one Rotation of the head of a conventional hearing aid sideways path through the formwork guide openings the microphones towards the line of sight.
- each sound entry opening 17A, 17B and 17C is one is assigned to omnidirectional microphone 18A, 18B and 18C
