Claims (10)

  1. Terminal for connecting an electrical conductor, which terminal has a bending spring (4; 31) which clamps in the conductor end (33) in the fitted state, and an operating member (12; 32), which is mounted such that it can pivot and has a cam disc (18; 30) for greater stressing of the bending spring (4; 31) and therefore for opening of the terminal, in a housing (1) which forms an apparatus frame, in which case the operating member (12; 32) can itself be operated by an end section (16) of an elongated tool (17), in particular a screwdriver (17), which can be used as a lever, and for which tool (17) it has a receptacle (15),
    characterized in that when the terminal is in the open position, the end (23) of the tool (17) can be pushed further forwards as far as a housing part (25), by means of which the tool (17) is blocked against pivoting back and therefore the operating member (12; 32) is held and secured in the open position.
