Gerade der sogenannte kanallose Druck, insbesondere also die Sleevetechnik, die sich durch ein auf eine Hülse nahtlos aufgebrachte Druckform oder einer zu einer Rundform laserverschweissten Druckplatte auszeichnet, erlaubt wegen der verringerten Schwingungsanregung aufgrund der fehlenden Zylinderkanäle eine reduzierte Steifigkeit. Damit wird das Längen/Dickenverhältnis der Druckzylinder, bzw. ihre relative Steifigkeit bezüglich einer Durchbiegung immer ungünstiger.
