Description

La présente invention concerne un dispositif d'application destiné à l'application par voie topique, d'un produit à action cosmétique ou dermatopharmaceutique, tel qu'un produit déodorant, un produit hydratant, un produit de protection solaire, un rouge à lèvres, un fond de teint, une ombre à paupières, un produit coiffant, un produit de coloration capillaire, etc.
En particulier, l'invention se rapporte à un dispositif d'application d'un produit solide tel qu'un produit sous forme de stick ou encore d'un produit fluide ayant une paroi applicatrice perméable au produit.
Typiquement, les produits sous forme de stick, en particulier les rouges à lèvres, sont conditionnés dans des dispositifs du type comprenant une cupule dans laquelle se trouve la formule à appliquer, et pouvant, en réponse à une commande d'actionnement, se déplacer axialement à l'intérieur d'une chemise entre une position de stockage et une position d'application. Le mécanisme d'entraínement de la cupule dans son déplacement axial peut être divers. Il peut s'agir d'une tige filetée disposée sous la cupule, coopérant avec un organe formant écrou, un tel mécanisme étant commandé par un organe de manoeuvre formé d'une molette disposée sous la chemise. Alternativement, il peut s'agir d'une rampe hélicoïdale réalisée dans une paroi de la chemise, et dans laquelle se déplace un ergot porté par la cupule.
Les produits sous forme de stick, notamment les produits déodorants, peuvent être conditionnés dans d'autres types de dispositifs qui comprennent un piston coulissant à l'intérieur d'une chemise, comme par exemple dans le document US 6,086,276. Le piston peut être entraíné par une tige filetée coopérant avec un écrou, ou encore par un mécanisme à cliquet.
Tous ces types de mécanismes sont relativement compliqués à réaliser et comportent un nombre relativement important de pièces.
Le document FR 986 178 décrit un étui pour un bâton de rouge à lèvres dans lequel le mécanisme d'entraínement est simplifié. En particulier, l'étui comporte un tube ouvert à ses deux extrémités dans lequel peut coulisser un godet portant le bâton de rouge à lèvres. Le godet dépasse à travers l'extrémité inférieure du tube de manière à ce que l'utilisateur puisse le pousser afin de faire monter le bâton de rouge à lèvres dans le tube et le faire sortir par l'extrémité supérieure. Un capuchon de fermeture est prévu pour se fixer de manière réversible sur le tube. Pour que le capuchon ait une longueur suffisante pour ne pas écraser le bâton de rouge à lèvres si on enfonce le godet au maximum lors de la fermeture du boítier, l'étui doit avoir un encombrement relativement important en longueur, égal à trois fois la longueur du bâton de rouge à lèvres. En outre, le godet portant le produit dépassant de l'extrémité inférieure du tube, le produit peut être déplacé relativement au tube même lorsque l'étui est en position de fermeture, ce qui n'est pas souhaitable en particulier dans le cas d'un stick sous forme de crème.
Le document EPO 503 324 décrit un distributeur du même type pour distribuer un produit fluide. L'extrémité supérieure du tube est fermée par un capuchon, fixé sur le tube, muni d'un orifice de sortie du produit qui peut être obturé par un bouchon.
Pour réduire l'encombrement d'un tel boítier, il a déjà été proposé des boítiers dans lesquels le godet affleure l'extrémité inférieure du tube. L'utilisateur pousse le godet par le fond du tube pour faire sortir le produit par l'extrémité supérieure du tube. Pour appliquer le produit, l'utilisateur tient le tube et applique le produit solide sur la zone souhaitée. Le produit n'étant pas fixe par rapport au tube, il est nécessaire que le godet coulisse avec suffisamment de frottements sur la paroi intérieure du tube pour que le produit ne recule pas dans le tube lors de l'application. Toutefois, si les frottements sont trop importants, l'utilisateur a des difficultés à pousser le godet à l'intérieur du tube pour faire sortir le produit avant l'application.
Des dispositifs du même type ont été décrits dans les documents FR 1 524 080 et US 3,443,874.
Aussi, est-ce un des objets de l'invention que de réaliser un dispositif d'application d'un produit qui ne présente pas les inconvénients de la technique antérieure.
C'est en particulier un objet de l'invention que de fournir un dispositif d'application d'un produit qui comprenne un mécanisme de sortie du produit simple à réaliser et à utiliser.
C'est encore un autre objet de l'invention que de fournir un dispositif d'application qui soit peu encombrant tout en évitant les risques d'abímer le produit lorsqu'il est sous forme de stick.
C'est également un autre objet de l'invention que de fournir un dispositif d'application qui ne permette pas la sortie du produit en position fermée du dispositif.
Selon l'invention, ces objets sont atteints en réalisant un dispositif d'application d'un produit, notamment cosmétique, d'axe longitudinal X, comportant un support et une enveloppe latérale délimitant au moins en partie avec le support un logement pour le produit, une extrémité du logement opposée au support formant au moins une ouverture, l'enveloppe étant montée sur le support de manière à pouvoir coulisser selon l'axe X en se déplaçant par rapport au produit en direction du support, le dispositif comportant en outre un capuchon de fermeture configuré pour se fixer de manière réversible sur le support.
Le dispositif est relativement simple à utiliser puisque l'utilisateur doit simplement faire coulisser l'enveloppe vers le support pour faire sortir le produit du logement au travers de l'ouverture avant de l'appliquer sur la zone souhaitée. En outre, lorsque le capuchon est fixé au support, l'enveloppe n'est plus accessible de sorte que le produit ne peut se déplacer à l'intérieur du dispositif en position fermée. De plus, le dispositif présente un encombrement relativement réduit en longueur puisqu'il peut avoir une longueur égale seulement à deux fois la longueur du logement du produit.
Selon un premier mode de réalisation, l'extrémité du logement peut délimiter une ouverture de section transversale sensiblement identique à la section transversale de l'enveloppe, apte à laisser passer le produit sous forme de stick.
Selon un deuxième mode de réalisation, l'extrémité du logement peut comporter une paroi perméable au produit sous forme fluide. La paroi perméable comporte au moins une ouverture et de préférence une pluralité d'ouvertures, aptes à laisser passer le produit sous forme fluide. La taille des ouvertures est choisie en fonction de la viscosité du produit de manière à ce que le produit ne puisse s'écouler par simple gravité au travers des ouvertures. Les ouvertures peuvent par exemple être les pores d'un matériau poreux ou les espaces entre les fibres d'un matériau fibreux.
Le support peut comporter une lèvre périphérique apte à coulisser de manière étanche sur la surface interne de l'enveloppe. Alternativement, on peut prévoir un joint torique sur le support.
Le support peut comporter une extrémité inférieure dont au moins une partie déborde axialement le capuchon en position de fermeture du capuchon. Cette extrémité permet en particulier de faciliter l'ouverture du dispositif, puisqu'elle peut être saisie par l'utilisateur lors de la séparation du capuchon et du support.
Le support peut comporter des moyens de fixation pour fixer le capuchon de fermeture de manière réversible sur le support.
Le support peut comporter une paroi transversale formant le fond du logement pour le produit, la paroi transversale étant traversée par au moins un orifice. L'orifice permet notamment d'introduire le produit par le fond du logement.
L'enveloppe peut comporter un bourrelet sur sa surface interne configuré pour venir en butée axialement contre deux portions du support dans deux positions d'extrémité.
Le produit peut être un produit cosmétique, notamment un produit déodorant, un produit hydratant, un produit de protection solaire, un rouge à lèvres, un fond de teint, une ombre à paupières, un produit coiffant, un produit de coloration capillaire, etc.
L'invention consiste, mis à part les dispositions exposées ci-dessus, en un certain nombre d'autres dispositions qui seront explicitées ci-après, à propos d'exemples de réalisation non limitatifs, décrits en référence aux figures annexées, parmi lesquelles :
  • la figure 1 illustre une vue en perspective d'un dispositif d'application selon l'invention, en position fermée ;
  • les figures 2 à 4 illustrent différentes vues en perspective du dispositif de la figure 1 après avoir retiré le capuchon ;
  • la figure 5 représente en coupe le dispositif illustré à la figure 4 ;
  • la figure 6 représente une variante du dispositif selon l'invention ; et
  • la figure 7 représente en coupe un deuxième mode de réalisation du dispositif selon l'invention.
Sur les figures 1 à 5 on a représenté un premier exemple d'un dispositif d'application 10 selon l'invention. Le dispositif d'application est par exemple destiné à l'application d'un produit cosmétique, en particulier un produit déodorant, et se présente sous forme d'un stick solide.
Le dispositif 10 comporte un axe longitudinal X et une section transversale elliptique. Le dispositif comporte un support 20 et une enveloppe 30 aptes à coulisser axialement l'un par rapport à l'autre, ainsi qu'un capuchon de fermeture 40 enveloppant l'ensemble. La section transversale de forme elliptique permet notamment de n'autoriser qu'un mouvement de translation entre l'enveloppe et le support. Il est bien évident que toute autre forme non circulaire peut avoir cette fonction. Alternativement, la section transversale peut être circulaire et un système anti-rotation peut être prévu sur le support et l'enveloppe, comme par exemple un ergot coulissant dans une gorge axiale. Bien entendu, le dispositif peut également avoir une section transversale circulaire et ne pas comporter de système anti-rotation et ainsi autoriser un mouvement de rotation entre l'enveloppe et le support.
Le support 20 est un corps creux formé par une paroi latérale 21 qui s'étend parallèlement à l'axe X. La paroi latérale 21 est fermée à son extrémité supérieure par une paroi transversale 22 trouée, la paroi étant traversée par plusieurs orifices 23 dont la fonction sera expliquée dans la suite de la description. Alternativement, la paroi 22 peut être traversée par un seul orifice 23. La paroi transversale 22 comporte à sa périphérie une lèvre d'étanchéité 24 prévue pour venir coulisser sur l'enveloppe. La lèvre coulisse sur l'enveloppe avec une force de frottement nécessaire et suffisante pour éviter que l'enveloppe ne se déplace par simple gravité par exemple, tout en permettant à l'utilisateur de facilement la déplacer. La paroi latérale 21 comporte un premier décrochement radial 25 vers l'extérieur, à proximité de son extrémité inférieure. Ce premier décrochement 25 peut servir de butée inférieure pour l'enveloppe 30. Un second décrochement radial 26 vers l'extérieur, plus important que le premier, est prévu sous le premier. Plusieurs nervures 28 sont prévues sur la surface externe de la paroi latérale 21, entre les deux décrochements 25 et 26. En particulier quatre nervures 28, espacées les unes des autres, sont formées à une même hauteur axiale. Ces nervures 28 servent à la fixation réversible du capuchon de fermeture 40 sur le support.
Un opercule 50 est fixé sur le fond du support de manière à fermer de façon étanche la partie inférieure du support. L'opercule est par exemple thermoscellé sur le bord inférieur de la paroi 21 du support. L'opercule peut être remplacé par une étiquette adhésive ou encore par un bouchon venant s'encliqueter dans le fond du support.
Une enveloppe 30 formée par un manchon s'étendant parallèlement à l'axe X est montée sur le support 20 de manière à pouvoir coulisser sur une partie du support entre deux positions. L'enveloppe 30 a une section transversale sensiblement supérieure à celle de la paroi 21 du support sur laquelle elle vient coulisser. L'enveloppe 30 est ouverte à ses deux extrémités, l'extrémité supérieure 31 délimitant une ouverture 35 permettant le passage du produit. L'extrémité inférieure de l'enveloppe 30 comporte un bourrelet 32 rentrant. Dans la position la plus haute de l'enveloppe relativement au support, le bourrelet 32 vient en butée axialement contre la lèvre périphérique 24. Dans la position la plus basse de l'enveloppe, le bourrelet 32 vient en butée axialement contre le décrochement 25 de la paroi latérale du support. Des saillies 33 sont prévues sur la surface externe de l'enveloppe pour servir d'appui aux doigts de l'utilisateur et lui permettre de faire coulisser l'enveloppe par rapport au support sans que ses doigts ne glissent sur l'enveloppe. De préférence, on prévoit plusieurs séries de saillies 33 formées sur chaque grande largeur de l'enveloppe, à l'opposé l'une de l'autre de manière à permettre une bonne préhension. Les saillies peuvent être remplacées par des surfaces rugueuses ou encore par des portions légèrement creuses qui permettent de recevoir les doigts de l'utilisateur.
Un capuchon de fermeture 40 sous forme d'étui est prévu pour venir envelopper l'ensemble support-produit-enveloppe. L'étui a également une section transversale elliptique. Il est fermé dans sa partie supérieure par une portion bombée 41 et est ouvert à son extrémité inférieure 42. A proximité de son extrémité inférieure, le capuchon comporte sur sa surface interne des stries non représentées qui forment, avec les nervures 28 prévues sur le support, des moyens de fixation réversible du capuchon sur le support. Alternativement, on peut prévoir des stries sur le support qui coopèrent avec des nervures prévues sur la surface interne du capuchon afin de former les moyens de fixation réversible du capuchon sur le support. Alternativement encore, le capuchon peut être fixé sur le support par serrage latéral.
En position de fermeture du capuchon, la section transversale de la paroi 21 au niveau du décrochement 26 est sensiblement la même que celle du capuchon, voire supérieure si bien que la paroi 21 déborde latéralement le capuchon 40. Ainsi, en position fermée du capuchon, celui-ci ne recouvre pas l'ensemble de l'extrémité inférieure 27 du support à partir de ce décrochement 26 de manière à ce que cette extrémité inférieure 27 soit accessible par l'utilisateur en position de fermeture. Alternativement, on peut prévoir que le capuchon enveloppe en partie l'extrémité inférieure 27 du support et qu'il comporte deux ou plusieurs embrasures 43. Les embrasures 43, représentées à la figure 6, sont formées à partir de son extrémité inférieure 42 et dégagent deux portions 29 du support que l'utilisateur peut saisir.
Le dispositif est réalisé de la façon suivante. Tout d'abord, le support 20, l'enveloppe 30 et le capuchon 40 sont chacun formés de moulage à partir d'une seule pièce, d'un matériau thermoplastique, par exemple un polypropylène, ou un polyéthylène. Il est bien évident que le support, l'enveloppe et/ou le capuchon peut(vent) être formé(s) de plusieurs pièces assemblées entre elles. L'enveloppe est montée sur le support en position haute, c'est-à-dire que le bourrelet 32 de l'enveloppe est en butée contre la lèvre d'étanchéité 24 du support. Le capuchon 40 est ensuite fixé de manière réversible sur le support. On remplit ensuite le dispositif en produit sous forme fluide en le faisant s'écouler par le fond du support, à savoir par l'ouverture délimitée par le bord inférieur de la paroi 21 du support. Le produit s'écoule alors au travers des orifices 23 de la paroi transversale 22 du support pour remplir le logement délimité par l'enveloppe 30, la paroi bombée 41 du capuchon et la paroi transversale 22 du support. En variante, on peut prévoir une petite capsule qui vient se fixer sur le bord supérieur de l'enveloppe 30 et qui délimite, avec l'enveloppe et la paroi transversale 22, le volume de produit à remplir. De préférence, on choisit une capsule ayant une forme bombée de manière à obtenir une surface d'application du produit bombée. Le produit, en séchant, forme un stick dont le fond est solidaire de la paroi transversale 22 du support. Le remplissage est relativement simple à effectuer car il n'y a aucun obstacle pour atteindre l'orifice 23 du fait notamment de l'absence de tout mécanisme d'entraínement du stick dans le fond du dispositif.
Pour utiliser le dispositif, l'utilisateur sépare le capuchon du support en maintenant l'extrémité inférieure 27 ou 29 de la paroi latérale du support et en éloignant le capuchon du support. Lors d'une première utilisation, la portion bombée du stick de produit déborde axialement l'enveloppe même si l'enveloppe est en position haute par rapport au support. L'utilisateur doit alors simplement appliquer cette portion bombée du stick sur la zone du corps à traiter. Après quelques utilisations, le stick de produit ne déborde plus axialement l'enveloppe 30, il suffit alors à l'utilisateur de déplacer axialement l'enveloppe 30 en direction du support de manière à dégager la portion supérieure du produit. A cet effet, l'utilisateur tient d'une main le support 20 et positionne les doigts de l'autre main, ou de la même main, sur les saillies 33 et fait descendre l'enveloppe sur le support de manière à faire coulisser la lèvre 24 sur la surface interne de l'enveloppe 30. Une fois que la portion supérieure du stick déborde l'enveloppe, l'utilisateur peut l'appliquer sur son corps en tenant le support 20, seul ou avec l'enveloppe. L'utilisateur tenant le support qui est fixe par rapport au produit, lors de l'application du produit sur la surface à traiter, il n'y a aucun mouvement relatif possible entre le produit et l'enveloppe lors de l'application contrairement au cas des dispositifs discutés précédemment dans lesquels l'utilisateur doit tenir l'enveloppe lors de l'application. Dans le cas où l'utilisateur a fait descendre l'enveloppe de façon trop importante, c'est-à-dire qu'une portion trop importante du stick est dégagée de l'enveloppe, il lui suffit de faire remonter l'enveloppe par rapport au support. Après chaque application, le capuchon peut être de nouveau fixé sur le support. Le capuchon étant fixé sur le support sur lequel le produit est à position fixe, il ne risque pas de détériorer la portion supérieure du stick lorsqu'on le replace sur le support. Au fur et à mesure des utilisations, le stick diminue en hauteur et l'enveloppe doit être déplacée vers le support pour faire sortir le stick de l'extrémité supérieure de l'enveloppe. En fin d'utilisation, l'enveloppe est dans sa position la plus basse de manière à pouvoir appliquer la portion inférieure du stick.
Le dispositif représenté à la figure 7 illustre une variante du dispositif d'application selon l'invention. Les références numériques ont été incrémentées de 100 par rapport à celle du premier mode de réalisation qui vient d'être décrit. Dans ce mode de réalisation, le produit est sous forme semi-liquide. Il s'agit par exemple d'un gel.
Ce dispositif 100 diffère de celui qui vient d'être décrit en ce que l'enveloppe 130 est cette fois fermée à son extrémité supérieure 134 par une paroi transversale bombée perméable au produit. L'extrémité supérieure 134 est par exemple traversée par des ouvertures 135 qui, de préférence, ne permettent pas, en position tête en bas du dispositif l'écoulement du produit par gravité. En outre, la paroi transversale 122 est cette fois traversée par un orifice unique 123 qui, après remplissage de produit, est fermé par un opercule 160 thermoscellé sur la surface inférieure de la paroi transversale 122, ou encore par un bouchon. Alternativement, on peut prévoir plusieurs orifices 123.
Ce dispositif s'utilise de la même manière que celui qui vient d'être décrit si ce n'est qu'avant chaque utilisation, y compris la première, l'utilisateur doit légèrement faire coulisser l'enveloppe 130 en direction du support 120 de manière à réduire le volume du logement contenant le produit et ainsi pousser le produit au travers des ouvertures 135. Le produit arrive alors sur la surface extérieure de la paroi transversale bombée 134 constituant la surface applicatrice du produit que l'utilisateur peut appliquer sur son corps afin d'y déposer le produit.
Dans la description détaillée qui précède, il a été fait référence à des modes de réalisation préférés de l'invention. Il est évident que des variantes peuvent y être apportées sans s'écarter de l'invention telle que revendiquée ci-après.

Claims (9)

  1. Dispositif d'application (10 ; 100) d'un produit (P), notamment cosmétique, d'axe longitudinal X, comportant un support (20 ; 120) et une enveloppe latérale (30 ; 130) délimitant au moins en partie avec le support (20 ; 120) un logement pour le produit, une extrémité (31 ; 134) du logement opposée au support formant au moins une ouverture (35 ; 135), l'enveloppe étant montée sur le support de manière à pouvoir coulisser selon l'axe X en se déplaçant par rapport au produit en direction du support, le dispositif comportant en outre un capuchon de fermeture (40 ; 140) configuré pour se fixer de manière réversible sur le support (20 ; 120).
  2. Dispositif selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que l'extrémité (31) du logement délimite une ouverture (35) de section transversale sensiblement identique à la section transversale de l'enveloppe (30), apte à laisser passer le produit sous forme de stick.
  3. Dispositif selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que l'extrémité (131) du logement comporte une paroi (134) perméable au produit sous forme fluide.
  4. Dispositif selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que le support (20 ; 120) comporte une lèvre périphérique (24 ; 124) apte à coulisser de manière étanche sur la surface interne de l'enveloppe (30 ; 130).
  5. Dispositif selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que le support (20 ; 120) comporte une extrémité inférieure (27 ; 127) dont au moins une partie déborde axialement le capuchon, en position de fermeture du capuchon.
  6. Dispositif selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que le support (20 ; 120) comporte des moyens de fixation (28 ; 128) pour fixer le capuchon de fermeture de manière réversible sur le support.
  7. Dispositif selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que le support (20 ; 120) comporte une paroi transversale (22 ; 122) formant le fond du logement pour le produit, la paroi transversale (22 ; 122) étant traversée par au moins un orifice (23 ; 123).
  8. Dispositif selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que l'enveloppe (30 ; 130) comporte un bourrelet (32 ; 132) sur sa surface interne configuré pour venir en butée axialement contre deux portions du support dans deux positions d'extrémité.
  9. Dispositif selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que le produit est un produit cosmétique, notamment un produit déodorant, un produit hydratant, un produit de protection solaire, un rouge à lèvres, un fond de teint, une ombre à paupières, un produit coiffant ou un produit de coloration capillaire.
