Abstract

A press (15) is usually located at the outlet of a greasy wool washing machine whereby it separates the dirty water arising during washing from the wool web. The wool fibers rinsed out with the press water are led together with the dirty water back into the bath. Only the sludge is removed from the bath, which accumulates in a sludge space (6) underneath the bath. It would have been sensible not to lead the dirty press water back into the bath that, however, is not intended for the rinsed out wool fibers. To avoid this, the press liquor is fed together with the rinsed out wool fibers to the emerging peripheral surface of a rotating sieve drum (3) again, and the dirty press water underneath the sieve drum surface, in the area of which the dirty liquor is fed, is collected once again by a tub (19) placed at that location and is separated from the immediate treatment process in this bath.

Description

A device of the generic type is known from EP-B-0 603 662. The machinery as a whole consists of a number of individual washing machines as z. As described in the Melliand Textile Reports 1993, page 1152 f. Each of these identically formed wash baths consists of a bath housing having as a false floor a perforated sheet separating a treatment space from a protective material discharge space. This perforation reduces the dirt that is released during washing, such as sand, excrement and grease. The sludge concentrates in the conically descending discharge space and is drained at intervals by opening a valve in the sewer. The treatment room is filled to a level with washing liquid. In this dive three rotatably mounted sieve drums, which are each separated by a short swim distance. The driven circulating sieve drums and the wool adhering to them at the bottom are flowed through by the liquid from outside to inside, in the buoyant path the loosened dirt has time to sink downwards and then to reach the sludge funnel. The flow through the screen drum is effected by a liquid circuit generated in the bath, wherein the squirted into the sieve drum liquid flows out of their front sides due to the lower level generated there by a pump and again at the beginning of the bath through a transversely extending to the washing channel in the Treatment room is supplied. At the end of each bath, a press roll pair is arranged, through which the wool web is freed from the dirty water of this upstream bath altogether. The press water is collected below the press and returned to the treatment process by a pump at the beginning of a bath.

When pressing off the dirty water not only gets the dirty water in the collecting container, but it is washed out with the press water and a number of wool fibers from the web, which is to recover it. From DE-A-2 142 454 it is known to lead the squeezed water together with the wool fibers via a pipe up over one of the screen drum, there to flow out onto the surface of the screen drum, which then leads the fibers back into the wool track with their rotary motion. On the other hand, it is proposed in EP-B-0 603 662, in addition to the circulated water, to supply the press water with the fibers to be recycled at the beginning of the bath to the washing process again. These measures have the consequence that the dirty press water charged the bathroom again.

The invention has for its object to change the generic device so that continuously a separation of the fibers to be recycled is made possible by the discharged wastewater.

Starting from the device according to EP-B-0 603 662, the solution found is that, as known, at least the liquid squeezed out of the leading wool web by the press roll pair is returned to the out-of-level peripheral surface of a screen drum with the washed out wool fibers, but an additional liquid collecting tray is arranged below this peripheral surface within the sieve drum, whereby the dirty water collected from the squeezing liquor in this sump can be removed from the bath separately from the circulated washing water and without wool fibers.

The thus collected, freed from wool fibers wastewater can be supplied to the existing below the bath housing Abschlammtrichter expediently in the lower region where the sedimented settling space, or it can immediately separated from the bath and possibly guided into the sewer or other cleaning device become.

The raw wool washing device consists of a plurality of the liquid up to a level 2 receiving bath housings 1, in which in any case a screening drum 3 is rotatably mounted. In the example of FIG. 1, 2, two sieve drums 3 are shown in a bath housing, which are separated by a swim 4. The treatment chamber 5 in this bath housing 1 is separated from the Schmutzstoffabführraum like Abschlammtrichter 6 through a perforated bottom 7. This bottom 7 is adapted according to the Fig. 3 the curvature of the screening drums 3. In the area of the swim line 4, the perforated bottom 7 is curved convexly outward. The Schmutzstoffabführraum is formed by a funnel 6, so that the precipitating from the wool fleece contaminants also on the funnel walls continuously the discharge opening 8, which is provided with a valve 9, suck. For discharging the sludge, the valve 9 at certain intervals, which can also be determined by a meter, opened, whereby the sludge is discharged into the sewer.

The squat through the perforation of the respective sieve drum 3 in the interior of the same liquid flows according to FIG. 4 at the end faces of the sieve drums 3 through openings 10 automatically in the front flanged on the outside longitudinal channels 11, 12. The effluent into the channel 11 liquid passes through a pipe, not shown, into the channel 12, from where the entire washing liquid is pumped by means of the pump 13 in the at the beginning of the bath housing 1 across the working width extending channel 14, from which they again flows back into the treatment room 5. From there, the washing liquid flows, on the one hand, through the wool adhering to the screening drums 3, then along the floating section 4 to the next screening drum and then to the press 15 arranged at the outlet of the bath.

At the press 15, the wool web is essentially separated from the now dirty wash water. The press water is collected below the press 15 by a pan 16. Wool fibers, which have to be brought back into the treatment process, are also rinsed out with the running press water. For this purpose, an outflow sieve 17 is arranged according to the invention above a sieve drum 3, that extends over part of the length of the drum 3. A pipe 18 leads from the tub 16 below the press 15 to this Ausströmsieb 17, so that the entire squeezed dirty liquor passes by means of a pump 16 'again to this screen drum. The squeezed dirt is to be separated from the fibers to be recycled. For this purpose, a further liquid collecting tray 19 is disposed within the sieve drum and below the Ausströmsiebes 17, which now only the squeezed dirty liquor absorbs, while the wool fibers lie on the rotating screen drum surface and due to the rotation of the sieve drum 3 in the direction of arrows 3 'in the association of Wool track be led back.

The now liberated from the wool debris from the tub 16 can from the tub 19 of FIG. 1 via a pipe 20 in the Abschlammtrichter 6, expediently in the lower settling chamber 6 ', or as shown in FIG. 2 via another pipe 21, bypassing the Abschlammtrichters 6 are immediately passed into a sewer or other additional cleaning device.
