Corresponding elevations will be formed in the object of value. These elevations may comprise 20-1600 projecting parts per linear inch, the height of the projecting parts being approximately 10 ⁇ m and their diameter lying between 0.1 and 6 ⁇ m.
- dies can be produced quickly and easily using laser techniques. Moreover, the dies have a relatively long service life. It will be understood that the information on the object of value can also be applied using dies which are obtained in other ways. Moreover, it is possible to provide dies which are produced partially using conventional techniques and partially using the laser technology described above. Modifications of this type and further variants lie within the scope of the invention as defined in the appended claims.

Claims (6)
- Objet de valeur (1) comprenant une partie en forme de feuille munie d'une image (2) sur au moins une de ces faces, l'épaisseur de la feuille étant inférieure à 0,2 mm et au moins la face de la feuille sur laquelle est appliquée l'image consistant entièrement en un matériau métallique en feuille, caractérisé en ce que ladite image est exclusivement formée par des séries d'élévations, élévations qui ont sensiblement le même diamètre et la même hauteur.
- Objet de valeur selon la revendication 1, dans lequel ladite feuille de métal est une feuille de métal précieux.
- Objet de valeur selon l'une des revendications précédentes, comprenant un matriçage postal, l'autre face dudit objet de valeur étant munie d'une couche adhésive (4).
- Objet de valeur selon l'une des revendications précédentes, dans lequel l'autre face de celui-ci est munie d'une autre image.
- Objet de valeur selon l'une des revendications précédentes, dans lequel lesdites séries d'élévations comprennent dans certaines zones 20-1600 parties en extension par pouce linéaire (2,54cm).
- Objet de valeur selon l'une des revendications précédentes, dans lequel la hauteur des parties en extension est environ 10 µm et le diamètre de celles-ci est entre 0,1 est 6,0 µm.
