Claims (17)

  1. Motor vehicle with a diagnostic system, which comprises a diagnostic connector (3) permanently under voltage installed in the interior (1) of the motor vehicle, the diagnostic connector (3) is configured for the electrical connection of at least one ancillary device (16) and a circuit is associated with the diagnostic connector (3) for protection of a vehicle battery against discharge.
  2. Motor vehicle according to Claim 1, characterised in that the ancillary device (16) has a separate voltage supply.
  3. Motor vehicle according to Claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the ancillary device (16) is coupled to the diagnostic connector (3) by means of an adapter (14).
  4. Motor vehicle according to Claims 1 and 3, characterised in that the circuit for protection of the vehicle battery against discharge is integrated into the adapter (14).
  5. Motor vehicle according to one of Claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the ancillary device (16) is configured as a charger for the vehicle battery.
  6. Motor vehicle according to Claim 5, characterised in that the charger is fitted with a charging current restrictor.
  7. Motor vehicle according to one of Claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the ancillary device (16) is configured as at least one controller (17) with a computer (18) and a memory unit (19), wherein the controller (17) is connected to a vehicle bus (10) by means of at least one network and/or diagnostic link of the diagnostic connector (3) for communication with further controllers (9) of the motor vehicle.
  8. Motor vehicle according to Claim 7, characterised in that the controller (17) is connected to the diagnostic connector (3) with the adapter (14) interposed.
  9. Motor vehicle according to Claim 7 or 8, characterised in that the controller (17) is integrated into the adapter (14).
  10. Motor vehicle according to one of Claims 7 to 9, characterised in that the controller (17) is configured as an immobiliser controller.
  11. Motor vehicle according to Claim 7, characterised in that electronic codes are written into the controller (19) for identification of a user of the motor vehicle.
  12. Motor vehicle according to one of Claims 7 to 11, characterised in that a personalisation of the motor vehicle occurs by means of the controller (17) to be connected to the diagnostic connector (3).
  13. Motor vehicle according to one of Claims 7 to 12, characterised in that the controller (17) has a PC interface (20).
  14. Motor vehicle according to one of Claims 7 to 13, characterised in that the controller (17) receives data from the other controllers (9) through the network and/or diagnostic link and at least temporarily writes these into the memory unit (19).
  15. Motor vehicle according to Claim 14, characterised in that the controller (17) transmits the data through the vehicle bus (10) to a wireless communication system (12) for transmission to a fixed server (13).
  16. Motor vehicle according to Claim 7 or 8, characterised in that the controller (17) is configured as a portable computer.
