Definitions
- the invention relates to a mixing element for mixing a mass of several components, in particular an adhesive composed of at least two components, with at least one Entry opening for feeding the at least two components into the mixing element and at least one outlet opening for dispensing the mixed mass. Between the at least an inlet opening and the at least one outlet opening is at least one flow channel intended.
- Multi-component masses are used in various areas of daily life. In construction, multi-component masses are used, for example, for chemical Dowels, adhesive fastenings or seals used. Because the individual components reacted to achieve certain material properties of the mass the components must be kept in separate containers until they are used stored and may only be mixed together shortly before use.
- Known multi-component mixers for processing pasty and liquid multi-component Fabrics usually have a tube with one entrance and one Output as well as a round cross-section in which to mix the components spiral, twisted or labyrinthine inserts are placed.
- the mass flow of the components to be mixed is divided several times, again united and the mixing of the components by flow rotation, turbulence and reversal of direction achieved.
- the direction of flow of the substances to be mixed, respectively Components run essentially parallel to the longitudinal axis of the Tubular body.
- Such multi-component mixers are in practice, for example, as static mixer tubes known.
- Static mixer tubes usually have a more or less rod-shaped Design based on the required number of repetitive mixing insert arrangements inside the static mixer tubes determines their length.
- a disadvantage of the known solution is that the known static mixer tubes are due to their inevitable length corresponding space during storage and transportation as well need to be used in handling.
- a dispenser for pasty to be mixed multicomponent masses is often the existing one Working space sufficient to arrange a static mixer tube on the dispenser.
- dispensers for a multi-component Adhesive.
- the known mixing tubes are unwieldy in such an application, because these are difficult to position by hand due to their length, what exact application of the mixed mass can be a hindrance.
- the present invention has for its object to provide a mixing element that is compact and handy and only a small amount of partially mixed Disposing mass of disposal.
- the mixing element should be simple and economical to manufacture his.
- the object is solved by the features of claim 1.
- a mixing element for mixing a mass of several components, in particular an adhesive from at least two components, at least one inlet opening for feeding of the at least two components in the mixing element and at least one outlet opening to output the mixed mass. Between the at least one inlet opening and the at least one outlet opening is provided with at least one flow channel. The direction of flow of the components to be mixed runs in the flow channel essentially orbital to the body longitudinal axis of the mixing element.
- the orientation of the flow channel is therefore essentially perpendicular to the direction the at least one inlet opening or the at least one outlet opening. Because the required mixing section for complete mixing of the supplied Components according to the invention is not arranged in the direction of the inlet and outlet opening Mixing element has a significantly lower overall height than a known static mixer tube on. The components are pressed into the inlet opening of the mixing element and passed through the flow channel due to the flow pressure. Through the redirection of the mass jet perpendicular to the inlet opening and redirection the supplied components are mixed and the mixed at the outlet opening Mass emerges from the outlet openings.
- the flow channel can be opposite a perpendicular arrangement to the direction of the inlet or the outlet opening be arranged inclined so that along the flow channel towards the mixing components acting pressure conditions change and the mixing of these components is also funded.
- the mixing element there are several inlet openings arranged on this, in which the individual components of the to be mixed Mass can be fed separately to the mixing element.
- the entry openings can be arranged along the flow channel such that individual components only be fed to other components if they already have a certain degree of mixing have experienced.
- the mixing element can be specific Masses are produced with special properties, depending on their application Contain a large number or a limited number of components.
- the mixing element may have several inlet openings and several Outlet openings.
- the flow channel essentially gives one within a mixing plane circular flow direction.
- the components to be mixed are used in this Embodiment when flowing through the flow channel additionally a centrifugal force exposed, which supports the mixing of the components.
- the circular flow direction also becomes, for example, a serpentine one Understood flow channel, which is essentially perpendicular to the direction of the inlet, or the outlet opening.
- deflecting elements are preferred in the mixing level to support the mixing of the components arranged several deflecting elements, wherein the deflecting elements optionally pivotable are trained.
- These deflection elements essentially serve as flow dividers for example by means of a flow rotation, generation of turbulence or a reversal of direction generate the mixing of the components to be mixed and a Ensure uniform mixing of the mass mixed in the mixing element.
- the deflecting elements can be, for example, segment-like or sickle-shaped be designed.
- the deflection elements are also designed as resistance elements z. B. with a disk-like configuration.

- the deflection elements is an intimate Mixing of the components with a low overall height of the inventive Given mixing capsule.
- the flow channel is advantageously guided over several mixing planes, the Mixing levels are optionally connected in series. Is the expansion of the mixing element perpendicular to the inlet opening or perpendicular to the outlet opening as a result limited external circumstances or a maximum extent, z. B. from manufacturing Reasons, if desired, can be that available in the mixing element Mixing section is not sufficient for complete mixing of the components.
- to Creating a sufficiently long mixing section can have several in one mixing element Mixing levels can be provided. These mixing levels are preferably connected to one another in series, so that the components to be mixed pass through a first mixing level and then the flow flow into a second and optionally subsequently into Another mixing level is performed until the thorough mixing of those to be mixed Components is guaranteed.
- mixing element instead of a mixing element with several mixing levels, several mixing elements can be used can be arranged one above the other. For this purpose are preferred on a first surface of the mixing element engaging means and on a, opposite the first surface, Counter face means provided on the second surface of the mixing element. So many can Mixing elements are stacked on top of each other until the required length of the mixing section of the Flow channel is reached. By means of a serial connection between the mixing elements the individual mixing levels are interconnected.
- Mixing levels of a mixing capsule can be connected to one another in parallel, for example.
- a parallel connection between several stacked mixing elements, which each have only one mixing level is also conceivable.
- the mixing element preferably comprises a cylindrical or a semi-cylindrical one Body.
- cylindrical Body also understood a body, the two bases of which are parallel, flat, congruent and are connected to each other by a lateral surface.
- the design of the mixing element as a circular cylindrical body is advantageous, since in this Designing the ratio between the amount of the mixing element used to manufacture used material and the available effective volume of the flow channel can be optimized.
- this can Mixing element for example, have a cuboid configuration.
- the mixing element can be formed, for example, in two parts.
- z. B. the base with the inlet opening detachable from the outlet opening and in the axial direction of the outlet opening the running wall and any existing ones Base surface of the mixing element having deflection elements is formed.
- the inlet opening and the outlet opening are preferably arranged on one axis.
- the production of the mixing element is simplified and on the other hand, it can Mixing element are formed mirror-symmetrically with respect to this axis.
- the entrance opening can e.g. B. can be provided with a collar which acts as an engagement means in a Recess can be brought into engagement, which is arranged at the outlet opening as counter gripping means is.
- several mixing elements for extending the Mixing section can be stacked together in series.
- the height of the flow channel is preferably to reduce the internal volume of the Mixing element can be reduced in size.
- the inner and outer walls laterally delimiting the flow channel can be designed to be foldable or elastic, for example these do not hinder the reduction of the internal volume of the mixing element.
- at least one of the base surfaces detachable from the inner and / or outer wall be arranged so that at least one of the walls when reducing the internal volume remains in the original extent.
- the mixing element has deflection elements, these are preferably pivotable arranged the bases of the mixing element, for. B. by means of a material rejuvenation or a trained joint.
- the in the axial direction of the entry, or the Elements of the mixing element that run through the outlet opening can be used in one variant be designed such that they can be folded in the axial direction.
- the components of a partially mixed reaction Mass during a work break which is why the mixing element before resuming a new mixing process must be replaced.
- Most of the mixing element according to the invention can in the mixing element located mass by reducing the internal volume supplied to the intended use become.
- the height of the flow channel is preferably at least by means of a rotary movement one of the bases of the cylindrical or semi-cylindrical body can be reduced.
- a first step only a part of the total amount required mixed mass generated by the mixing element.
- the second step is through a rotational movement and / or a pushing movement the axial height of the mixing element reduced.
- the amount in the mixing element increases mixing components forced along the flow channel and occurs to the largest Part as a completely mixed mass from the outlet opening. This amount corresponds the part of the total amount of mixed mass required in addition to the mass created in the first step is required at the place of use.
- the one in the Mixing element remaining and to be disposed of the mostly expensive material is on a minimum which, for example, affects the economy of the entire application has a positive effect on the user.
- the mixing element is preferably arranged on a fastening plate which is mixed with the Mass is attachable to a surface. This arrangement is especially for Establishing an adhesive connection between a mounting plate and a substrate advantageous.
