Claims (2)
- Procédé permettant de convertir M canaux d'entrée audio (1', 3', 5', 9', 13') représentant un champ acoustique en N canaux de sortie audio (1-23) représentant le même champ acoustique, dans lequel chaque canal est un flux audio unique représentant des sons provenant d'une direction, M et N sont des entiers positifs et M est un entier positif égal à deux ou plus, caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend :une pluralité de modules de décodage chacun étant associé à deux canaux d'entrée adjacents dans l'espace ou plus (1', 3', 5', 9', 13'), dans lequel chaque canal d'entrée est partagé entre de multiples modules, et chaque module :- comporte une matrice qui génère, à partir des deux canaux d'entrée associés ou plus (1', 3', 5', 9', 13'), un canal de sortie ou plus (1-23) chacun constituant un sous-ensemble desdits N canaux, par un procédé qui comporte la détermination d'une mesure de la corrélation entre les deux canaux d'entrée ou plus (1', 3', 5', 9', 13') et le niveau d'interrelation entre les deux canaux d'entrée ou plus (1', 3', 5', 9', 13'), ou- génère à partir des deux canaux d'entrée associés ou plus (1', 3', 5', 9', 13'), par un procédé qui comporte la détermination d'une mesure de la corrélation entre les deux canaux d'entrée ou plus (1', 3', 5', 9', 13') et le niveau d'interrelation entre les deux canaux d'entrée ou plus (1', 3', 5', 9', 13') des signaux de commande qui sont utilisés, avec des signaux de commande générés par d'autres modules de décodeur, afin de modifier les coefficients d'une matrice variable pour générer tous les canaux de sortie (1-23), ou- génère, à partir des deux canaux d'entrée ou plus (1', 3', 5', 9', 13') par un procédé qui comporte la détermination d'une mesure de la corrélation entre les deux canaux d'entrée ou plus (1', 3', 5', 9', 13') et le niveau d'interrelation entre les deux canaux d'entrée ou plus des signaux de commande qui sont utilisés, avec des signaux de commande générés par d'autres modules décodeurs pour modifier les facteurs d'échelle des entrées et/ou des sorties d'une matrice fixe pour générer tous les canaux de sortie (1-23).
- Procédé selon la revendication 1, dans lequel les modules sont classés par ordre hiérarchique en fonction de leur nombre de canaux d'entrée et un superviseur communique avec les modules pour commander le partage des signaux d'entrée en fonction de leur ordre hiérarchique.
