Die Erfindung betrifft eine Umreifungsverpackung für beliebig lange Güter mit beliebigem Querschnitt, z. B. runden, vieleckigen o. dgl. Querschnittsformen mit beliebigen Abmessungen, die mit rundumzu an das Packstück angelegten Hölzern o. dgl. Material beliebiger Querschnittsabmessungen mit Verpackungsband beliebiger Art mitumreift werden.The invention relates to a strapping for goods of any length with any cross-section, for. Bei den bekannten Umreifungsverpackungen fallen die mitumreiften Hölzer nach dem Entfernen der Verpackungsbänder auseinander, sodass die Güter ebenfalls auseinanderfallen, wenn sie keine stapelstabile Form haben. Diese Nachteile wurden bisher versucht teilweise zu lösen, indem während des Einlegevorganges der Güter in einen Transportwagen, in den auch vorher die Holzleisten manuell entsprechend ihrer Endpositionen am Packstück eingelegt werden, um die beiden senkrechten Holzleisten in mittlerer Höhe der Packstücke ein Verbindungsband gelegt wird, das sie nach dem Öffnen der Rundumzuumreifung solange zusammenhält, bis auch das Verbindungsband gelöst werden muß, um die Güter dem Packstück ganz entnehmen zu können. Bei einem derartigen Ablauf der Herstellung eines Packstückes müssen alle Vorgänge für die versandfertige Herstellung des Packstückes, wie Einlegen der Verpackungsbänder, Hölzer und der Güter in das Gestell sowie das Anbringen des Verbindungsbandes, Auflegen des oberen Holzes auf das Packstück und das Spannen und Verschließen der Verpackungsbänder an der Stelle stattfinden, wo die Güter hergestellt werden.
Wegen des großen Umfanges der manuellen Handhabungen ist eine Automatisierung der versandfertigen Herstellung der Packstücke nicht möglich und müßte außerdem an jeder Güterherstellungsmaschine vorgenommen werden. Das ist verschwenderisch und somit unwirtschaftlich.

Von den in einer beliebigen Anzahl um das Packstück angelegten Rundumzuumreifungen können alle oder nur einige mit Verbindungsumreifungen versehen werden.
Die Packstücke mit den Gütern sind so für den Transport vom Herstellungsort zum Verbrauchsort mit LKW, Bahn odgl. Transportmitteln
gesichert. Am Verbrauchsort werden die Rundumzuumreifungen und das jeweils dann lose obere Holz entfernt. Jetzt können die Güter dem Packstück entnommen werden.
