Definitions

  • the invention relates to a clamping or spreading forceps with two scissor joint-like interconnected gun arms, the one-end grip sections and other end clamping sections and can be latched in different clamping positions, wherein the clamping force is the result of an associated with the movement of the gun arms in the clamping position elastic deformation of at least one the pliers arms is.
  • a clamping or spreading forceps of this kind is from the DE-OS 199 33 033 known.
  • the Zwingen Sign reversing recovery deformation of the spring force, ie the restoring force of the gun arms is made.
  • the object of the invention is to improve the dosing of the clamping force on a generic clamping or spreading forceps.
  • a generic clamping or spreading forceps is achieved increased use value.
  • the tool is practically two, operatively adjacent to each other or superimposed Before centering, based on the resilience of the gun arms and that of the associated spring element.
  • the area supplying the clamping force increases, which benefits the desired meterability of the same.
  • the gripping sections can be further pulled against each other in the sense that an additional latching jump or more is or will become possible.
  • the constraining effect is practically optimized. Nevertheless, the high-grade tensioning position can be conveniently loosened again with the triggering device described in detail in the aforementioned precursor.
  • the spring element which is switched into the active section between the tensioning section and the grip section is actually arranged on the handle section side. It proves to be particularly advantageous in terms of stabilization that the pliers arms of rigid profile bodies, in particular of metal, are formed. It is further provided that one of the two gun arms is formed by two with the spring element against each other sprung levers. The keep the so assigned spring element protected between them, the profile structure can be used to optimally form a spring chamber. The two legs are pivoted about the forceps joint to increase the clamping force against each other.
  • An advantageous embodiment in this respect further consists in that one of the two levers is a two-armed output lever, which forms the clamping portion with a first lever arm and extends with its second lever arm between the two handle portions, of which one handle portion as the actuating arm of the other lever formed drive lever acts under compression of the interposed spring element on the second lever arm.
  • the free gusset space between the two gripping portions of the gun arms is used as an abutment in a structurally advantageous manner.
  • the loading is done by the arranged above the handle portion of a pliers limb. In certain cases, it may be advantageous to bias the spring element arranged between the two levers.
  • the invention proposes that the spring element is a compression spring and the tongs arm having a locking release lever is assigned.
  • the tongs arm carrying the snap-action release lever is supported on the other tong arm via a nose extending beyond the forceps joint. This results in an effective Sp Dretzbegrenzung.
  • The can be exploited for the attachment of the spring element, just in the sense of the above-indicated bias.
  • the invention proposes that the forceps jaw forming pliers sections are formed by disc packs. Over this clamping sections of different resistance and type can be put together. The cohesion of the slats is about anyway to be provided grip-side attachment points, eg.
  • the gripping portions of the gun arms themselves are formed by U-shaped stamped bent profiles, wherein at least one U-shaped opening can entrain the above-indicated spring chamber of the spring element.
  • One embodiment consists of a clamping or expanding pliers, in which the clamping sections have clamping jaws in that the U-shaped clamping jaws are folded from a punched sheet having a window in such a way that profiled facing each other Window edges form two parallel mutually occidental gripping edges, which are connected to each other at the ends via webs.
