Abstract

The invention relates to a track grinder comprising simple means for protecting against dust and sparks, which enable a precise, relief-dependent separation between the grinding area and the environment, whereby particular arrangements for preventing fires are not necessary, sound proofing is improved and the maintenance of the grinding tools is simplified. The height of the means for protecting against dust and sparks can be adjusted in an least partially continuous manner or in small steps. Preferably, the means for protecting against dust and sparks are embodied in the form of blinds.

Description

The invention relates to a rail grinding machine according to the preamble of claim 1, which is intended for grinding the railroad tracks, in particular the local and long-distance transport network.

It is known to more or less completely separate the grinding of rail track machines with lamellae, retractable metal curtains from the environment, so that the latter is as little as possible bothered by flying sparks and dust. However, it has been shown that with the known arrangements of this goal is achieved only imperfectly because the metal curtains are basically fixed preset on certain rails and transport networks and placed simultaneously with the grinding units to the rails in position. In general, the metal curtains do not follow the irregularities of the road or the terrain next to the rails. Only with built-ins (eg level crossings) are the metal curtains connected to skids following the changed relief. By irregularities in the relief, the individual slats in the metal curtains can twist or tilt against each other, so that the tightness of the metal curtains is in question. Because of the resulting in the grinding process glowing metal shavings and the associated risk of fire high pressure water cannons are additionally provided in known grinding machines. In addition, both the sound insulation and the maintenance options are insufficiently ensured in the known arrangements.

From the CH 671 595 A5 Further, a device for correcting the rails of a rail track is known in which rail grinders are arranged in a protective box, which is adjustable with the rail grinders in the vertical direction. However, an adaptation of the box to the relief is not or only very imperfectly possible.

The invention is therefore based on the object, a rail grinding machine with such means for dust and To provide spark protection, which allow the most accurate, relief-dependent separation of the grinding space from the environment, do not require special precautions to prevent fire and also improve the sound insulation and simplify the maintenance of grinding tools.

According to the invention this object is achieved by the characterizing features of the first claim. In a stepwise adjustment must be small steps. The means for dust and spark protection are advantageously designed as one-piece or multi-piece Rouleaus, which are heat-resistant at least on their inner sides. The rouleaux are attached to both sides of the grinder. The individual pieces of each rouleau (each blind) are hinged together. For this purpose, the Rouleaus can be provided on their inner sides with a protective against flying sparks, flexible layer, or they can be made of a total material (light metal, plastic, wood). So that the means for dust and spark protection, in particular the blinds, complete the grinding space as tight as possible, these are guided in grooves and provided at their free ends with rubber aprons, which adapt well to the relief. With the free ends of the side of Nutenstücken Rouleaus covered sheet metal plates are hinged, which support the functioning of the Rouleaus and where the rubber aprons are attached. The rubber aprons have a heat protection on the inside.

The height adjustment of the rouleau can be done by hand, by the operation of belonging to electrical or pneumatic actuators switches or automatically. For automatic control of the height adjustment of the Rouleaus and thus the rubber aprons each adjustable Rouleau is associated with at least one sensor which rotates a motor via a spindle, to which the Rouleau attached and around which the Rouleau is wound.

In order to generate a negative pressure in the grinding space enclosed by rouleaux and rubber aprons, one or more suction devices are attached to them, which at the same time provide for the extraction of the dust-enriched air from the grinding space. Filter systems (cyclones) in the exhaust air flow remove this from the grinding dust, which is collected in settling tanks. The air cleaned by the grinding dust can at least partially be used to cool a generator for driving the grinding tools.

In Fig. 1, a rail grinding machine 10 consists of a grinding carriage 11 and a generator carriage 12, which move with carriages 13, 14 in the direction of arrow 15 on rails 16. Each chassis 13, 14 comprises four wheels, of which two each sit on an axle 17, 18 and of which only the front in the view are visible. Also of the rails 16, corresponding to the wheels, only the front visible on an associated relief 19. With the chassis 13 for each wheel on each rail 16 at least one track roller 20 pivotally mounted and connected to the rail 16, wherein for reasons of clarity, only one track roller is shown. In an analogous manner 14 track rollers can be assigned to the chassis. On each carriage 11, 12 are four perpendicular to the rails 16 extendable and extendable support legs 21, 22 are provided, of which only the front are visible and for lifting the car 11, 12 of the rails 16 (during maintenance) and for placement the carriage 11, 12 are used on the rails 16 (in case of accidents).

At the front end of the grinding carriage 11 is a cab 23, on the bottom surface in the drawing one behind the other lying two sensors 24, 25 are attached. Likewise, two sensors 26, 27 are attached to the back 121 of the carriage 12. The sensors 24 to 27 are distance meters acting on the optical principle or on the ultrasound principle, which detect distance changes from the relief 19 outside the rails 16 and forward them to a central control unit 28 (FIG. 2).

Both on the grinding carriage 11 and on the generator carriage 12 are provided on both sides Rouleaus in the form of blinds 29, 30 and 31, of which only those on the viewer side facing are visible. The blinds 29, 30 are in groove guides 50, 51, 52 and the blind 31 is guided laterally in groove guides 53, 54. Instead of the two blinds 29, 30 can also be a single blind used, provided it meets the requirements of stability and tightness. The sensors 24 to 27 are aligned, viewed in the direction of travel 15, with the right and left, the rails 16 corresponding Rouleaus.

The blinds 29, 30 close a grinding room 32 in the grinding carriage 11, in which on both sides, each of the adjacent track rails 16 belonging grinding modules 33 are in regular arrangement and to the upper part of suction devices 34 with cyclones 35 (as filter systems) and suction fans 36th are connected. In the suction means 34 settling tank 37 are provided with filters for the airborne dust particles. Through a pipeline system 38, the dust-free air 39 is released to the environment.

The shutter 31 closes a grinding space 40 of the generator carriage 12, in which there are grinding modules 41, of which the rear rail 16 belonging also are not visible. The generator carriage 12 includes at least one generator 42 for driving all the grinding modules 33, 41 over the rails 16. Two generators may also be provided, each of which drives the grinding modules over a rail. Cooling and combustion air 44 reaches the generator 42 through ventilation slits 43. Slits are also provided on the rear side 121 of the generator carriage 12 through which the exhaust air 55 of the generator 42 can escape. Through a pipe 45, the grinding space 40 of the generator carriage 12 with the suction / (s) 34 of the grinding carriage 11 is connected, so that this suction device 34 generates a vacuum in the entire grinding space 40 between the axles of grinding carriage 11 and generator carriage 12 and its dusty air sucks, which is filtered in the settling tank 37 and freed from dust. Instead of a suction device for both cars 11, 12, each car can be provided with its own suction.

Thus, the grinding spaces 32 and 40 are closed on all sides, also transverse to the direction of protection aprons 46 are attached. In this way it is ensured that due to the action of the suction 34 fresh air 47 only through the narrow gaps 48 and 49 between the blinds 29, 30, 31 and aprons 46 on the one hand and the relief 19 on the other hand in the grinding spaces 32 and 40th passes, so that the greatest possible negative pressure is generated in the grinding spaces. As a result, the resulting in the grinding process in the grinding spaces 32 and 40 grinding mist 61, which consists of fresh air, grindstone residues, rust particles, iron dust and other rail and rail bed contaminants, sucked from all areas of the grinding rooms. The narrow gaps 48, 49, because of the large negative pressure in the grinding spaces 32, 40 no escape of the grinding mist, although the grinding residues by the grinding process is a considerable kinetic energy inherent. This energy is the abrasive particles significantly reduced by mutual interference and by braking the blinds 29, 30, 31 and Abschutzschutzschürzen 46 and other limitations, so that the grinding residues as well as the other components of the grinding mist 61 by the ruling in the grinding spaces 32 and 40 Negative pressure follow the pull of the suction or fall due to their mass on the superstructure to the ground.

The tight blinds 29, 30, 31 are not only the dust and noise protection but also the spark arrester. Flying glowing metal chips can not leave the track area through narrow gaps 48, 49 and thus give no cause for fires. The use of special Wassersprühanlagen is therefore unnecessary in principle. Similarly, the blinds 29, 30, 31 avoid that moisture (rain or spray) comes into contact with the aggressive grinding residues. Finally, by the simple operation of the blinds 29, 30, 31 easy access to the grinding modules 33, 41 possible during maintenance.

In Fig. 2, the double blinds 29, 30 with the groove guides 50, 51, 52 are included in an exploded view. The groove guide 51 is designed on both sides, so that both blinds 29, 30 are guided with their sides facing each other in the same component 51. Each of the guides 50, 51, 52 has at its lower end corner skirts 501, 511, 521. The blinds 29, 30 are fixed to a spindle 56 which is rotatably mounted in a box 57 about an axis XX. The rotation of the spindle 51 causes an electric motor 58 (eg rod motor), which in response to the signals of the sensors 24 to 27 from the control unit 28th depending on the direction is rotated. The groove guides 50, 51, 52 not only ensure an exact, but also a relatively tight guidance of the blinds 29, 30th

With the shutter 29, 30 is at its free end 291 and 301, a metal plate 59 (made of aluminum) articulated, with a heat-resistant skirt 60 is screwed. The apron 60 may be made of a heat-resistant, flexible plastic or rubber, which is provided on the sand space side with a non-combustible layer (sandwich shape).

The blind 31 is similar to the blinds 29, 30 designed, stored and driven. For each shutter 29, 30, 31 or each double blinds 29, 30, a motor is provided on the left side L and on the right side R of the rail grinding machine 10 for each shutter spindle, which rotates the associated blind spindle in a direction-dependent manner.

Instead of being automatic, the electric motor 58 can also be switched on and off manually depending on the direction. Finally, it is also possible to rotate the spindle 56 depending on the direction by hand by the required amounts.
