Vorrichtung zum Trockenhalten von Kaltband im Auslauf von Kaltwalz- und Bandanlagen mit Mitteln zum Abweisen von flüssigem Walzmedium im Bereich des Bandauslaufs und/oder zum Entfernen an Oberflächen des Bandes (30) anhaftender Spritz- oder Sprühflüssigkeit, gekennzeichnet durch eine logistische Zuordnung dieser Mittel im Zusammenwirken zu einer Funktionseinheit, wobei diese die folgenden Vorrichtungsteile umfaßt: a) eine fest installierte Abschottung (1, 2), deren Teil (1) oberhalb des Bandauslaufs (10) bis an die Gerüstbühne und deren Teil (2) unterhalb des Bandauslaufs (10) bis an die Grundplatte anschließt, b) eine mit beweglichen Teilen (20, 21) zur Ermöglichung eines problemlosen Walzenwechsels ausgebildete bewegliche Abschottung, c) eine zum Abweisen von abgequetschtem Walzmedium vom fertiggewalzten Band (30) ausgebildete Ballenabblasung (3), d) eine zur Abdichtung des oberhalb vom Band (30) gelegenen Walzenraumes (11) gegen das Band (30) ausgebildete Ballenspaltabdichtung (4), e) eine zur Erzeugung einer zum Band (30) rechtwinkligen Luftströmung im auslaufseitigen Walzspalt (12) oberhalb des Bandlaufs (10) ausgebildete Bandkantenabblasung (5), f) eine zur Erzeugung einer gegen die Bandlaufrichtung (13) gerichteten parallelen Luftströmung oberhalb und unterhalb des Bandes (30) im Bandkanal (14) ausgebildete Dunstabsaugung (6).
