Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé et un système permettant de manoeuvrer un poste de traitement dentaire relié à un ordinateur, qui comprend des éléments d'actionnement et/ou des indicateurs d'état montés sur le poste de traitement dentaire, une interface par l'intermédiaire de laquelle des informations sont transmises sous forme de codes de fonction, du poste de traitement dentaire (1) à l'ordinateur, via les éléments d'actionnement et/ou des indicateurs d'état, une zone de mémoire (7) sur l'ordinateur, dans laquelle sont déposées des actions associées à un ou plusieurs codes de fonction. Afin d'adapter les éléments d'actionnement (3) ou la surface supérieure d'utilisation (12), il est prévu sur l'ordinateur, un logiciel gérant ces codes de fonction. Ledit logiciel permet d'initier l'action associée auxdits codes de fonction, mémorisée dans un fichier de configuration, notamment d'initier ou de clore une application PC ou une action d'utilisation dans une application PC en cours. Les attributions des codes de fonction des éléments d'actionnement et/ou des indicateurs d'état du poste de traitement dentaire aux actions PC peuvent être configurées par modification du fichier de configuration.
