A device of plastic material for receiving spring bars in slatted frames for furniture for sitting and lying on, comprising at least one end point mounting (2) for at least one spring bar, wherein each end point mounting (2) has a receiving cap (4) for a spring bar and a flat fixing projection (5) having a latching opening (6), as well as a holder (3) which can be fixed to a support frame (13) and which has at least one flat receiving means (8) for the respective fixing projection (5), characterised in that the holder (3) has a resilient tongue (9) having a latching hook (10) for engagement into the latching opening (6).
  2. A device according to claim 1 characterised in that in the mounted condition the flat receiving means (8) forms a pocket with the support frame (13).
  3. A device according to claim 1 or claim 2 characterised in that the tongue (9) is formed integrally on the holder (3).
  4. A device according to one of the preceding claims characterised in that the tongue (9) centrally has an opening (11) for optimising the spring characteristic.
  5. A device according to one of the preceding claims characterised in that an end point mounting (2) as known per se has at least one spring element (15) between the receiving cap (4) and the fixing projection (5).
  6. A device according to one of the preceding claims characterised in that at least two end point mountings (2) are connected together by way of limbs (14) to afford a functional unit.
  7. A device according to one of the preceding claims characterised in that the receiving caps (4) are open or closed at the rear side.
