  7. A kitchen cover as claimed in one of the preceding Claims 2-6, characterised in that the burner is a gas burner and/or an electric burner.
  8. A kitchen cover as claimed in one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the worktop (1) includes at least one material from the group consisting of GRP (glass fibre reinforced plastic materials), particularly glass fibre reinforced polyester, and SMC (sheet moulding compounds) including carbon fibre reinforced plastic material.
  9.
