Description

The present invention relates to a shading element for a light band or a dome light with a mountable on a light band or a light dome essentially plate-shaped element, are recessed in the light window.

From the DE 197 08 174 CI sunscreen is known, which consists of a flexible textile material in which a plurality of regularly arranged triangular light windows is recessed. In order to reduce the exposure to UV rays, the light windows occupy an area of about 50%, so that sunlight only penetrates the sunscreen with less intensity. The sunshade shown is suitable as a sunshade, but can not be readily mounted on light bands or skylights, as the flexible material would sag. For an assembly therefore complicated frame structures would have to be provided. Furthermore, the textile material is only limited weather resistance, dirty easily and is usually highly flammable.

From the DE 90 12 153 is a shutter for roof windows from shatterproof and non-combustible material is known, which can be brought by means of connectors, pulleys and a transport frame in an open or closed position. The transport takes place by a cable.

For skylights has also been proposed in the prior art, plate-shaped elements to assemble into a pyramid, wherein the individual elements are connected via a plurality of fastening means. In the individual plates recesses are provided so that a partial shade effect is achieved. However, the assembly of such elements is relatively expensive.

It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide a shading element for a light band or a dome light of the type mentioned, which can be produced with only a few components and can be easily assembled.

This object is achieved with a shading element having the features of claim 1.

According to the invention, the plate-shaped element with the light windows on a stepped edge portion which is fixable via fastening means on a light band or a dome light. The stepped edge ensures that there is a certain gap between the light band or light dome and the plate-shaped element and that the shading element does not damage the surface of the dome or the light band, even if wind and weather influences the shading element. By the stepped edge portion, the shading element can also be easily mounted, since only the edge portion is fixed and the plate-shaped element is stretched between a plurality of edge portions, wherein the plate-shaped element can be curved so that the shape of the plate-shaped element of that of the dome or the light band adapts ,

If a stepped edge section is provided on the plate-shaped element on opposite sides, the shading element can be stretched in a particularly arcuate manner. For ease of assembly, the stepped edge portion can have openings for screwing, so that the shading element can be mounted quickly on the dome or the light band or a bar arranged adjacent.

Preferably, at least one recess is formed on the plate-shaped element, which is supported on the light band or the dome light. Especially with light bands or skylights with a greater extension in width can increase the strength of such a depression to stabilize the Beschat make sense. If the recess has approximately the same height as the stepped edge portion, the plate-shaped element extends approximately parallel to the dome or the light band, which looks both visually attractive and on the other hand a certain protection, for example against flying sparks and radiant heat (DIN 4102 T7) represents hard roofing, as between the plate-shaped element and the usually made of plastic light strip is made a distance.

For a stable attachment, the recess can also be screwed to the dome or the light band.

The shading element preferably forms a fall-through protection after installation. According to various building regulations, skylights and light strips must be designed so that they can catch a fall of a person on the material, so that the person does not accidentally collapse through the roof. This is usually achieved only initially, since the plastic material of the light strips or skylights ages and a permanent security against falls is not guaranteed. The fall protection is tested by dropping an object of 50 kg from a height of 60 cm onto the skylight or the light band. By the shading element according to the invention the dome light or the light band is given an additional stability, so that the standardized requirement for safety against falls through and the conditional accessibility can be met.

For a cost-effective production, the shading element is made of a stamped and bendable sheet metal, with light metals can be used for a low weight.

For a uniform distribution of the light and a good illumination through the light band or the dome light, the shading element preferably on the light band or the dome facing bottom on a reflective surface, so that although the warm-up is reduced by intense sun exposure, although by the shading element the intensity of the exposure is not significantly reduced.

In the plate-shaped element, the light windows can form a regular pattern, wherein in relation to the total area an area of 20 to 70%, preferably 35 to 45% is recessed, so that a corresponding shading takes place.

An inventive shading element for a light band or dome comprises a plate-shaped element 1, which is made of a bent metal sheet and is mounted on a light band 2 by means of two arranged on opposite sides stepped edge portions 4 and 5. The light band 2 has struts 3 at regular intervals, between which a transparent material is provided for transmitting light.

In the middle of the arcuately stretched plate-shaped element 1, a recess 6 is formed, which is supported on the upper side of the light band 2. The plate-shaped element 1 thus has two wings 7 and 8, which extend approximately parallel to the upper side of the light band, wherein the recess 6 and the stepped edge portions 4 and 5 each have the same height.

The recess 6 is V-shaped or U-shaped and comprises two slightly obliquely widening side walls 9 and 11, which are connected to each other via a bottom 10. The base 10 may be bolted to the light strip for additional stabilization with a strut 3.

The stepped edge portions have a side wall 15 which extends from a wing 7 or 8 of the plate-shaped element 1 obliquely downwards. On the side wall 15, a foot 12 is provided, are recessed in the openings, which can be connected by screws 13 to the light band 3. On the opposite side a corresponding side wall 14 is provided at the edge portion 4.

The shading element has a regular pattern of light windows 16, between which opaque plate-shaped portions 17 are provided. As from the enlarged view of Fig. 5 can be seen, the light windows 16 have substantially the shape of diamonds, which are formed by offset from each other small squares 18. Webs 19 are provided between the squares 18, so that the plate-shaped element 1, despite the provision of light windows 16, has a certain intrinsic stability and bending stiffness. Since the shading member 1 is made of a metal sheet, the bottom reflects light to some extent, so that a uniform illumination is achieved.

In the illustrated embodiment, only one recess 6 is provided on the shading element. It is also possible to arrange a plurality of depressions 6 in order to increase the rigidity of the shading element. Furthermore, the arrangement and the pattern of the light windows 16 can be varied. Instead of the diamond-shaped arrangement of recesses, these can also have a triangular, have square or another shape. Also, the light transmittance of about 35 to 45% through the light windows can be changed according to the requirements.

Furthermore, the shading element is mounted directly on a light band 2. It is also possible to mount the edge portion 4 and 5 on a bar adjacent to the light band or dome, or to provide a direct connection to the roof.

In the present specification, the terms light band and dome are generally used for light inputs, regardless of whether the light bands or domes are arcuate, tent-shaped, pyramidal, rectangular, square or round. The shading element according to the invention can be used for a wide variety of forms of light bands or skylights. Further, the light bands or skylights may be fixedly mounted as well as include movable wing members.
