Definitions
- the invention relates to a transparent glass / glass ceramic plate for Products with a hot zone that produce a metal impression the side of the glass / glass ceramic plate facing away from the viewer a metallic foil / plate is attached.
- a disadvantage of these known hobs with non-transparent glass ceramic plates decorated on the top side is that the ceramic decorative colors can only be applied in a relatively thin layer of only a few ⁇ m and do not have the desired brilliance in this layer thickness. Furthermore, due to printing-related difficulties, especially in the case of the fully-decorated cooking surfaces, the decor design and thus the appearance of the cooking surfaces are not free of restrictions. In addition, only. certain decorative colors are used that meet the requirements from practice (moving pots, cleaning overflowed and burned-in cookware, etc.), since the decorations applied to the top are exposed to high mechanical and chemical attacks, as is the case, for example, in DE 36 00 105 C2 is described. Furthermore, the decorations applied to the top of the glass / glass ceramic plate prevent the cooking surface from being as smooth as possible.
- a hob with a transparent is not colored glass ceramic plate or a tempered glass plate
- Special glass as a cooking surface that is heated with radiant heating elements Has cooking zones, on which decorations are applied, and their underside carries an IR-permeable layer of a temperature-resistant color, known in which the underside layer as a color-giving decoration is formed and the top of the glass ceramic or glass plate decor-free is.
- the underside decoration is chosen in this way can be that a metal appearance is created in plan view of the cooking surface.
- This can be achieved by using a temperature-resistant paint layer Metallic effects or by laminating a thin aluminum foil with highly transparent adhesives in the cold area of the cooking surface, i.e. except for Cooking zones, possibly in conjunction with a layer of paint temperature-resistant colors, especially single-layer or multi-layer Precious metal and / or luster color layer in the hot area.
- FIG. This figure shows one Cooking surface 1 made of glass / glass ceramic with a cooking zone 2 through a Radiator 3 is heated.
- the bottom of the hob is outside the cooking zone, i.e. in the cold area 4, by means of a layer 5 of transparent Glue applied a metal foil or metal plate 6.
- On top of the A further decor 7 can be applied to the cooking surface.
- the hot area i.e. the cooking zone with a transition area, is typically with a Color layer (not shown) made of temperature-resistant colors according to the state of the art.
- the invention is therefore based on the object mentioned transparent glass / glass ceramic plate with metal appearance through an underside attached metal foil / plate so that due to the thermal operational loads no mechanical stresses can train between both partners.
- clamping connection means can be made by springs be educated.
- the arrangement is expediently such that a defined air gap is formed between the metallic foil / plate and the glass / glass ceramic plate.
- the different coefficients of thermal expansion of glass / glass ceramic plates and metallic foils / plates can thereby be avoided.
- the air gap is preferably a heat-conducting one Compensating medium, e.g. Filled silicone oil that adheres to the metallic Foil / plate reinforced and yet a balance between the produces different coefficients of thermal expansion.
- Compensating medium e.g. Filled silicone oil that adheres to the metallic Foil / plate reinforced and yet a balance between the produces different coefficients of thermal expansion.
- the arrangement is such that the calculation index of the compensating medium is adapted to that of the glass / glass ceramic plate.
- the arrangement is such that the metallic foil / plate is attached outside the cooking zones and the Cooking zones an underside coating of temperature-resistant, have metallic-looking colors.
- the cooking surface When used on cooking surfaces with atmospheric gas burners inserted, the cooking surface is designed in such a way that the metallic foil / plate is brought up to the use of the burner. This is possible because the temperature in the edge area of the insert is significantly lower than in the cooking zones with radiation-heated cooking surfaces.
- Cooking surface 1 made of glass / glass ceramic with a radiation-heated cooking zone 2. Outside cooking zone 2, i.e. in the so-called cold area 4, is due to the Loosely attach a metallic foil / plate 6 to the underside of the cooking surface 1.
- usual non-positive, but adhesive-free mechanical means ensure that the film / plate cannot detach itself.
- film / plate 6 is applied by means of a clamp connection for example by springs and the like.
- the metal foil / plate 6 can be profiled or be structured.
- the surface can also be glossy or matt become.
- the metallic foil / plate 6 is located directly on the underside of the glass / glass ceramic plate 1.
- the thermal expansion coefficients of the glass / glass ceramic cooktop 1 and the metallic foil / plate 6 partly can be very different, despite the adhesive-free attachment
- the metallic foil / plate is warped. This can be done according to the in Fig. 2 illustrated embodiment can be avoided by the metallic foil or plate 6 by means of a clamp connection behind the Glass / glass ceramic plate 1 is attached so that to bridge the different coefficients of linear expansion a defined air gap is introduced, which can be filled with various media in order to compensate for possible warpage of the metal foil.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a transparent glass / glass ceramic plate for Products with a hot zone that produce a metal impression the side of the glass / glass ceramic plate facing away from the viewer a metallic foil / plate is attached.
Products with hot areas, in which glass / glass ceramic plates are used are typically cooktops with glass / glass ceramic cooktops, which have radiation-heated cooking zones, and on the other Fireplace panels. The corresponding glass / glass ceramic plates for Cooking surfaces are typically, as is apparent from EP 0 220 333 Colored transmission reduction so that the below the Functional components of the glass / glass ceramic plate Are practically invisible from above. These hobs are therefore practically not transparent and appear black when viewed from above.
Cooking surfaces formed from the aforementioned glass / glass ceramic plates are in the generally provided with decors, be it for purely aesthetic reasons or around functional areas, e.g. the cooking zones, opposite other areas the cooking surface. These decors and their application to the Glass ceramic plates are described, for example, in DE 44 26 234 C 1 (= EP 0 693 464 B1 and DE 34 33 880 C2 described.
Because of the non-transparency of the colored glass / glass ceramic plate hence the decorations on the cooking surface, including the so-called for example from DE 197 28 881 C 1 (= DE 297 11 916.8 U 1) well-known full-surface-decorated cooking surfaces, where the decor almost completely covers the top of the hob, according to the above State of Technique with enamel-based ceramic colors on the top, either typically printed using screen printing, or there using the decal technique applied and then baked.
A disadvantage of these known hobs with non-transparent glass ceramic plates decorated on the top side is that the ceramic decorative colors can only be applied in a relatively thin layer of only a few μm and do not have the desired brilliance in this layer thickness.
From JP 7-17409 and JP 51-89517 it is known as cooking surfaces serving glass / glass ceramic plates made of a transparent, not colored To manufacture glass ceramics and their underside with a temperature-resistant To print color. However, this color layer is used only for the production of Non-transparency, it just replaces the usual coloring so that it also appears black under supervision. The decors are in the known case also applied on the top, with the corresponding, at the beginning disadvantages shown.
From DE 200 05 461 U1 a hob with a transparent, is not colored glass ceramic plate or a tempered glass plate Special glass as a cooking surface that is heated with radiant heating elements Has cooking zones, on which decorations are applied, and their underside carries an IR-permeable layer of a temperature-resistant color, known in which the underside layer as a color-giving decoration is formed and the top of the glass ceramic or glass plate decor-free is.
It is also described that the underside decoration is chosen in this way can be that a metal appearance is created in plan view of the cooking surface. This can be achieved by using a temperature-resistant paint layer Metallic effects or by laminating a thin aluminum foil with highly transparent adhesives in the cold area of the cooking surface, i.e. except for Cooking zones, possibly in conjunction with a layer of paint temperature-resistant colors, especially single-layer or multi-layer Precious metal and / or luster color layer in the hot area.
Such a known structure is shown in FIG. This figure shows one
Since the thermal expansion coefficient of the Glass / glass ceramic cooktop on the one hand and the metallic foil / plate on the other hand can be very different, can be relatively high operationally Tensions arise, which negatively affect the cooking surface when subjected to shock loads and can affect the metal foil / plate. This does not only apply to the Cooking surfaces, but also for other products with a hot area, e.g. the Fireplace glass.
The invention is therefore based on the object mentioned transparent glass / glass ceramic plate with metal appearance through an underside attached metal foil / plate so that due to the thermal operational loads no mechanical stresses can train between both partners.
This task is solved with a transparent Glass / glass ceramic plate for products with a hot area, for the production a metal impression on the side facing away from the viewer a metallic foil / plate is attached to the glass / glass ceramic plate in accordance with the invention in that the metallic foil / plate free of adhesive is non-positively attached to the glass / glass ceramic plate.
Due to the adhesive-free attachment of the metallic foil / plate mechanical tensions between the joining partners are avoided, so that so far no negative effects on the glass / glass ceramic plate or the metallic foil / plate.
For the non-positive, adhesive-free attachment of the metallic foil / plate there are different possibilities. An easy way results themselves if means for applying a clamp connection are provided.
In the simplest case, these clamping connection means can be made by springs be educated.
An embodiment is also conceivable in which magnetic means for holding the metallic foil / plate are provided.
Special design effects can also be achieved if the metallic foil / plate is profiled or structured.
In order to avoid operational warpage of the metallic foil / plate, the arrangement is expediently such that a defined air gap is formed between the metallic foil / plate and the glass / glass ceramic plate.
The different coefficients of thermal expansion of glass / glass ceramic plates and metallic foils / plates can thereby be avoided.
The air gap is preferably a heat-conducting one Compensating medium, e.g. Filled silicone oil that adheres to the metallic Foil / plate reinforced and yet a balance between the produces different coefficients of thermal expansion.
So that the metallic appearance does not, despite the balancing medium is "watered down", the arrangement is such that the calculation index of the compensating medium is adapted to that of the glass / glass ceramic plate.
When using the measures according to the invention on cooktops radiation-heated cooking zones, the arrangement is such that the metallic foil / plate is attached outside the cooking zones and the Cooking zones an underside coating of temperature-resistant, have metallic-looking colors.
This means that the entire cooking surface, including the cooking zones, can be one Preserved metallic appearance.
When used on cooking surfaces with atmospheric gas burners inserted, the cooking surface is designed in such a way that the metallic foil / plate is brought up to the use of the burner.
This is possible because the temperature in the edge area of the insert is significantly lower than in the cooking zones with radiation-heated cooking surfaces.
Based on the embodiments shown in the drawings Invention described in more detail.
