Claims (4)

  1. An insemination instrument comprising an insemination catheter (1) and a sperm tube (9), of which the insemination catheter (1) has a catheter shaft (2) comprising a plastic pipe with an enlargement (3) at its distal end, for artificial insemination of livestock, in particular pigs, and the sperm tube (9) has a dispensing nozzle (11) to be coupled to the insemination catheter, and comprises the sperm to be applied, wherein on the interior wall of the catheter shaft (2) in the region of its proximal end (14) an internal screw thread (15) for holding the dispensing nozzle (11) of the tube (9) is formed, characterised in that the dispensing nozzle (11) of the tube (9) originally comprises a smooth exterior surface, and by being screwed into the internal screw thread (15) of the catheter shaft (2) is deformable so as to form an external screw thread.
