Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a socket outlet which comprises a hubcap provided with a front wall having two holes for receiving two pins of contact of a plug, and a body, placed at the back of the hubcap, which houses female type contact elements located opposite the holes of said front wall and a flap, interposed between said contact elements and said front wall, movable between different positions, and comprising, on a face, inclined surfaces able to be positioned opposite said holes when said shutter is in one of its positions.
  • the flap is movable in translation between first and second positions under the action an earth pin or a keying pin inserted in the insulating housing housing the flap via an additional hole provided in the front wall of the hubcap.
  • this is the earth pin carried by the plug inserted in the socket-outlet, and, according to the document ES 1 046 309, this is an actuating pin integral with an adapter of keyed on the plug before insertion into the socket socket current concerned.
  • the component is rotatable between first and second positions under the action of a ground pin inserted in the insulating housing housing the shutter via a additional hole provided in the front wall of the hubcap.
  • this earth pin is carried by the plug inserted in the base outlet in question.
  • the component comprises three branches extending radially from a central part by which it is rotatably mounted, two of the three branches covering the two contact elements phase and neutral of the female type, the third covering the contact element earthen.
  • the two branches of the flap covering the phase contact elements and of female-type neutral each bear on one face, on the one hand, a face which, in a first position of the shutter, is able to position itself said holes to close it, and, on the other hand, an inclined cam surface which, in a second position of the flap, is able to position itself opposite said hole for allow the subsequent introduction of a phase or neutral pin into one of the female-type contact elements by completely erasing the branches of the shutter.
  • the third branch of the shutter comprises, on its face turned towards the orifice insertion of the earth pin carried by the plug, an inclined cam surface allowing said earth pin to rotate said shutter of its first to his second position.
