Abstract

The invention concerns an accessory used for carrying a mobile telephone to simplify managing the telephone when moving about. The invention is characterised in that it consists in fixing said accessory around the hand, at the root of the thumb and beneath the joints of the other fingers, so that the apparatus is obliquely positioned in the palm. It consists of two straps: one enclosing the hand (1) and the other enclosing the apparatus (2) assembled in variable ways. Said accessory, which does not exist yet, can provide, through its practical and security features, a novel business opportunity to leathercraft, clothing and accessory manufacturers.

Description

The present invention relates to an accessory, hitherto nonexistent, used to carry the mobile phone.

During a trip, especially for women whose clothing may not have pockets large enough to hold the mobile phone, pressing the button on the phone to answer the call quickly often causes problems. The majority of women put their device in their bag. Sometimes the ringer is already off before they can get out their phone. It also happens that, because of ambient noises, they do not even hear the ring.

There are already bags with an outside pocket designed to put a mobile phone, as well as specific cases on the phone with a loop to attach the set to the belt. However, such accessories are not necessarily suitable for all styles of dress. In the Japanese market, a system called "strape" designed to hang the mobile phone on the wrist with a cord is widely available. Thus, the majority of Japanese-made mobile phones are provided with a system for attaching this cord. However, because a phone hanging on the wrist is awkward, most people with this system do not put it on their wrist, but in their bag. This system is finally used to find and shoot quickly, the ring, the phone put in the bag.

The present invention overcomes all the aforementioned disadvantages by allowing to fix the device to the safest and least awkward place when moving on foot, that is to say, in the palm of the hand. Thanks to the decrease in the weight and size of mobile phones, the current models, placed obliquely in the palm of the hand, the upper part protruding between the thumb and forefinger, only touch these two fingers very lightly. .

This innovation brings two other advantages:
  • 1) Because most current mobile phones are equipped with the system that can replace the ring by a vibration, the configuration of this function associated with the invention can immediately enter the call without disturbing those around him.
  • 2 °) The fact of attaching the phone to his hand during any displacement avoids the loss of the apparatus by forgetfulness or by rape. The phone carrier, not only reassured not to miss any call, is also reassured on this plan.

The present invention consists of a band that surrounds the hand, at the root of the thumb and under the joints of the other fingers so as to give a good grip. This band analogous to a bracelet is called the large band (1) below. This large band (1) uses a system acting as a link with the phone, a second band surrounding said phone between the keyboard and the display screen. This second smaller band is called the small band (2) below.

The realization of this accessory can be done in two different ways:
  • 1) All of a piece, in other words, the large band (1) and the small band (2) in one piece with a separation between the two parts.
  • 2) Two separate parts, in other words, the large band (1) and the small band (2) prepared separately and then assembled.

In the case of a realization in one piece, it is preferable to make this accessory in elastic material. The separation between the large band and the small band will be made by a seam. Or better still, with a part used to mark the separation of the two parts, such as a ring (3), or a triangular piece (4) of the same type as those used at the crossing of the straps for pants. Depending on the contours of his hand and his apparatus, the tape is slid in one piece so that the piece is in the right place to mark the separation (FlG.2 and 3).

In the case of a realization in one piece the object can be done in two ways:
  • 1 °) Two closed bands. For the best fit, one or both of the two systems may employ a system consisting of a ring (5) and a slider (6) similar to those found on the bra straps to adjust the length ( FIG.2 ).
  • 2 °) One band closed and the other open. The latter is provided with a loop (7) allowing both adjustment in length and closure, in other words, the attachment of the accessory ( FIG.3 ).

The accessory thus manufactured in one piece can be attractive according to multiple existing examples in areas that use elastic materials, such as women's underwear or that of hair accessories. Manufacturers can deploy on the bands or on the parts of adjustment all kinds of aesthetics.

It is also possible, by following the above-mentioned manufacturing principles, to make this accessory in two different materials: for the visible part on the back of the hand, in other words, most of the large band (1) , in any material used for a bracelet, leather, textile, metal, etc. And for the rest, in other words, the non-visible part of the back of the hand, the small band (2) and a part of the large band (1), which will be hidden by the telephone, made of elastic material ( FIG.4 ).

The assembly of the two materials for the visible part can be done by a seam or by any other safe means.

Also, the material provided for the visible part on the back of the hand can cover in good place the two strips previously made in one piece ( FIG 4 ).

In the case of an embodiment in one piece, it is preferable to ensure that the small band (2) is narrow enough to interfere with the screen or the keyboard. This, gradually decreasing the width of the band, if the accessory is made of a single material, changing the width between the visible part and for the rest, if the accessory is made of two different materials.

In the case of an embodiment in two separate parts, there is the choice between the final assembly and the removable assembly.

In the case of a final assembly, the large band (1) and the small band (2) are attached together by sewing or by any other safe means.

La petite bande (2) doit s'incliner d'environ 30° par rapport à la grande bande (1).For the good behavior of the device in the hand, and not to interfere with the fingers, the assembly of the two parts must not be perpendicular. The small band (2) should tilt approximately 30 ° to the large band (1).

In the case of an embodiment of the large strip (1) of metal, it is preferable to make it in successive metal links as some models of watch strap, so that the assembly is flexible- For assembly with the small band (2), one can use solid wire that surrounds or penetrates one or more links.

In the case of a removable assembly, among others, a button system is envisaged which consists in fixing on the small band (2) a button penetrating into a buttonhole placed on the large band (1). Or, on the latter (1) is fixed a button (8) penetrating into a buttonhole (9) placed on the other strip (2) ( FIG.5 ).
With this system, the inclination of about 30 ° is natural, because the protruding part rotates in the hole, once the phone has taken its place in the accessory and in the palm of the hand.

In all the aforementioned cases, whether the final assembly or the removable assembly, it is preferable to provide a small band (2), with or without the adjustment system, of elastic material . This, for a better mobile phone plug of varying size.

This small band (2) must be of reduced width, because of the reduced space between the keyboard and the display screen.

As for the length of the small band (2), it can be conceived in three ways:
  1. 1) The length that corresponds to the average contour, at the separation of the keyboard and the display screen, existing mobile phones. Of course, in this case, the use of the elastic material is mandatory, but the use of the adjustment system is not essential.
  2. 2 °) If the small band (2) is not equipped with length adjustment system, it can be provided in several lengths, such as SML, to choose a length depending on the contour of the model concerned.
  3. 3 °) The length which corresponds to the contour of the apparatus of the biggest size. In this case, the use of the elastic material is not mandatory. On the other hand, the use of an adjustment system is mandatory.

The part that surrounds the hand, the large band (1), can be considered analogous to a bracelet, a watch band, even to a belt or a collar of the "dog collar" type. Therefore, it can be made practically following the same principles of these accessories. To adjust it to the contour of the hand, all existing and imaginable systems aimed at adjusting, such as nux, loop, VELCRO tape, all kinds of clasp, etc., can be used. If a fastening system which does not adjust the length is used, it is possible to cut the large band (1), if it is made of a material such as leather, textile or PVC, to keep the desired length, as this is done with a belt with a detachable loop to adjust to the person concerned. Also, can we proceed to the removal of the links, if the large band (1) is made of successive metal parts, as is done with a watch strap of the same type.

Unlike the watch strap which is often a complement of the dial, with this invention, it is especially this large band (I) on the back side of the hand that is seen.

Manufacturers can, therefore, deploy their know-how in terms of aesthetics and styles. Also, may they affix their acronyms or their mark symbols on the appropriate fastening systems.

It is not excluded, either, to set a watch face on this large band (1), the back side of the hand.

Thus, this innovation provides mobile phone users with the simplification of their device behavior when traveling.

The present invention also provides manufacturers concerned with all aspects of appearance a new niche.

When this accessory is widely used, manufacturers can incorporate on mobile phones, either on the sides or on the back, a system such as the passer-by (s) co-operating with the large band (1) so that the small band (2) does not interfere with the screen or the keyboard.
