Abstract

The invention relates to a pouch (1) having a front face (2), a rear face (3), an opening (4) between the front face and the rear face for accessing a content (5) of the pouch, a flap (6) connected to the front face and having a free end (7) that can be folded back in order to cover at least partially the rear face (3) so as to close the pouch, first fixation means (8) of the pouch provided on the rear face (3) of the pouch, characterised in that the first fixation means (8) includes at least two button-holes formed in the rear face (3) of the pouch and adapted for receiving a strap (9) there through for attaching the pouch to a portion of the human body (10).

Security pouch

Field of the invention

The invention relates to a pouch to attach to a body part via a strap and able to contain relatively small objects such as credit cards or identity cards, jewelry, mobile phones. , sunglasses, etc. In particular, the pouch of the present invention makes it possible to prevent the theft of its contents either by tearing off the pouch or by its surreptitious opening. The present invention also relates to the use of this pouch for its attachment to a part of a human body.

State of the art

There are many variants of pouches of this type on the market. Most of these pouches comprise a front face and a rear face, joined so as to leave an opening which is reversibly closed by folding the free face of a flap and are provided with means of attachment to a strap or a item of clothing. The fastening means of the pouch can be located on the free face of the flap (see US-A-4139133), between the front and rear faces

(See US-A-1972480), but are most often on one of the front or rear faces of the pouch.

In many cases, when worn in a belt such as a belt or a bracelet, the free portion of said flap is, in the closed position, located outward, and thus facilitating their surreptitious opening by a thief.

To overcome this obvious drawback, it has been proposed for example in DE8531152-U1 (FIG. 1 & 2), US-A-1651921 (FIG. 1-3), FR-A-2476460 (FIG. 1 & 2), US-A -1418871 (Fig.1-3) and US-A-4705086 (Fig.l) to carry such a pocket between the strap or the rim of a garment element and the body, thus making access to the contents of the more difficult pouch to a thief. However, this method of using the pouch described has the disadvantage of making it difficult for the contents of the pouch to be accessed by its owner as well, since the pouch is wedged between the body and an item of clothing or a strap, which can besides being uncomfortable in cases where the cover or its contents is thick.

While in the pockets described in the documents cited above, the fastening means are located on the face opposite to the face on which the flap free face folds to close the pouch, the application US-A-6286736 proposes a pouch comprising a clamping means forming a spring (or "clip") located on a first side with a tab secured to the second side of the pouch and tilting on the first side to close the pouch. If this pouch makes the surreptitious opening of the pouch more difficult than for the aforementioned pouches, it facilitates tearing since the pouch is attached to an item of clothing by the clip.

It can be seen that there remains a need for a security pouch to be affixed to an item of clothing of a person, which makes his flight to be pulled up and the surreptitious flight of his content almost impossible, while maintaining easy access to its content to its owner and carrier.

Summary of the invention

The present invention is defined by the independent claims herein. In particular, a pouch according to the invention comprises:

"a front face,

"a back side,

an opening located between the front face and the rear face and giving access to a contents of the pocket, a flap secured to the front face and a free end is adapted to fold down so as to cover at least partially the rear face in order to close the wallet,

"first fastening means of the cover located on the rear face of the cover

and is characterized in particular from US-A-6286736 in that the first fastening means comprise at least two buttonholes arranged in the rear face of the pouch and adapted to receive through them a strap adapted to gird the pouch to part of a human body.

Such a pouch is, according to the invention, encircled with a part of a human body by a strap passed through said at least two buttonholes so that,

"in a closed position of the pouch, the free end of the flap is in contact with a portion of the back side of the pocket, and is located between the strap and the human body; and

in an open position of the pouch, the opening is on an outer side of the strap.

In this way it is practically impossible to open the pouch without its owner noticing it, since the flap is wedged between the strap (belt or bracelet) and the body, while ensuring comfort since the pouch itself is on the outer side of the strap (that is to say separated from the body by the strap) and its contents can be thick (for example a mobile phone or glasses). The use of at least two buttonholes as a method of attachment to a strap ensures the inviolability of the pouch by tearing because, firstly, a strap such as a belt or a bracelet is stronger than a garment and on the other hand, the buttonholes forming part of the pocket and the strap being threaded through said buttonholes, the separation of the pocket and the strap can be done by removing the strap of the body part around which she is girded.

Detailed description of particular embodiments

Fig.l and 4 (a) schematically show a known pouch, such as for example those disclosed by DE-8531152-U1, US-A-1651921, FR-A-2476460, US-A-1418871 and US Patent 4,705,086.

Such a pouch (1) comprises a front face (2), a rear face (3), an opening (4) located between the front face and the rear face and giving access to a content (5) of the pouch, a flap (6) secured to the front face and a free end (7) is adapted to fall back to the face back to close the pouch, the first fastening means (8) of the pouch to an item of clothing or a strap (9) (belt or bracelet) adapted to enclose the pouch to a portion of a human body (10). ), for example an arm or the waist.

When this pouch is worn by a person, its contents (5) will be on the inside of the garment or the strap (9), which will cause that said content will be wedged between the strap (9) and the body, for example the arm or the size of the person wearing it.

Fig. 2 shows a pouch (1) according to the invention. Figure 3 schematically compares pouches (a) as described in the documents cited with reference to Figures 1 and 4 (a) above; (b) according to the disclosure of US-A-6286736; and (c) according to the invention.

As can be seen in these figures, the pouch according to the invention comprises the same basic elements as known pouches, namely a front face (2), a rear face (3), an opening (4) located between the front face and the rear face and giving access to a content (5) of the pouch, a flap (6) secured to the front face and a free end (7) is adapted to fall back to the rear face to close the pouch, as well as first fastening means (8) of the pouch to a strap (9) adapted to encase the pouch to a portion of a human body (10).

It should be understood that the rear face (3) of this pouch is the face that will be placed closest to the body (10) of the person who will wear the pouch. The front (2) of this pouch is the opposite side to the rear face (3) and is the front of the pocket separated from the body of the person who will wear the pocket by the rear face (3) and which will be visible when the pocket will be worn by the person (10).

The pouch according to the invention differs from known pouches of the type shown in Figure 3 (a) in that the first fastening means (8) for attaching the pouch to the strap (9) are located on the rear face (3) of the pouch, so that when the pouch is in the open position, that is to say when the flap (6) is open, the opening (4) giving access to the contents (5) of the pouch, and therefore the contents (5) of the pouch are substantially on the outer side (11) of the strap (9) thus ensuring the comfort of the person wearing the pouch; the inviolability of the cover is ensured by the closing mode of folding the flap (6) so that the free end of the flap is trapped between the strap and the body of the wearer.

The security of the pouch according to the invention is reinforced compared to that described in US-A-6286736 illustrated in Figure 3 (b) in that the first fastening modes (8) consist of at least two buttonholes arranged in the rear face (3) of the pouch and adapted to receive therethrough a strap (9) adapted to encase the pouch to a portion of a human body (10). In this way, there is no way to tear the pouch of the strap to which it is attached unlike the variant of Figure 3 (b) where the pouch is fixed only by a clip. As illustrated in Figs. 1 and 2, the outer side (11) of the strap (9) is the visible side of said strap when the latter is carried by a person (10), while the inner side (12) of the strap (9) is the opposite side to the outer side (11), that is to say the side that will be placed against the body (10) of the person who will wear the pouch. In this way, the content (5) is not stuck or tight against the body when the bag is worn on the outside of the strap (9). The strap (9) can be of different shapes and sizes. Preferably, the strap (9) is a belt or a bracelet.

The pouch according to the invention can be girded by means of the strap (9) to different parts of the human body (10) such as for example the size, an arm, a leg or any other part of the human body that could be suitable for this purpose. effect.

Fig. 4 (a) & (b) shows a view of the rear face (3) of the pouch according to the invention. It shows the first fastening means (8) of the pouch to a strap (9). These first fastening means (8) comprise at least two buttonholes, in the example two buttonholes (8), formed in the rear face (3) of the pouch and through which the strap (9) is able to pass.

Preferably, the free end of the flap (7) is adapted to cover a substantial portion of the rear face of the pouch when the latter is in a closed position. In particular, it is preferable if the free end of the flap (7) covers the part of the rear face between the at least two buttonholes. The fact to increase the portion of the flap that will be wedged between the pouch and the part of the body that carries it when the pouch is worn closed increases indeed the difficulty in the surreptitious opening of the pouch.

In order to further improve safety, the pouch according to a further preferred version of the invention is characterized in that it comprises second fixing means (20) for fixing the free end of the flap removably to the rear face. . Preferably, the second fastening means may for example comprise at least one Velcro strip (see FIG. 4 (a)), at least one press stud, a buttonhole adapted to receive the free end (7) of the flap (see FIG. 4 (b)), etc. Preferably, the second fastening means are on the part of the rear face between at least two buttonholes (8), thus ensuring that the opening of the pouch can not be done without introducing a finger or utensil between the strap and the body of the person wearing the wallet.

Preferably, the flap (6) has a triangular or trapezoidal shape, the free end (7) having a width smaller than that of the portion of the flap folding at the opening (4) to close it. In this way, closing the pouch by sliding the free end (7) between the strap and the body is facilitated with respect to a rectangular configuration of the flap (6).

Fig. 5 shows an example of a pouch (1) according to the invention worn to the size of a person (10) by means of a belt (9). The pouch according to the invention can be made in different shapes and dimensions, depending on what it is supposed to contain: for example identity or credit cards, a mobile phone, sunglasses or eyes, keys, jewelry, a camera, or any other object likely to be transported in a pocket of this type. The pouch of the present invention can be made in different materials, synthetic or natural, flexible or rigid. Preferably, it is made of leather or imitation leather or synthetic or natural fabrics, preferably fabrics of high strength to avoid the risk of tearing buttonholes in case of tearing of the pouch.
