  2. Contact element (1) according to Claim 1,
    whereby the recess (3) is configured as an elongated hole.
  3. Contact element (1) according to Claim 1,
    whereby the recess (3) is configured as a groove.
  4. Contact element (1) according to one of Claims 1 to 3,
    whereby the recess (3) is dimensioned such that the first conductor (L1) is partially or wholly accommodated.
  5. Contact element (1) according to one of Claims 1 to 4,
    whereby the recess (3) is configured closed or open.
  6. Contact element (1) according to one of Claims 1 to 5,
    whereby a connecting element (6) is arranged on the base plate (2) for connecting purposes.
  7. Contact element (1) according to one of Claims 1 to 6,
    whereby the base plate (2) is formed from an electrically conductive material.
  8. Contact element (1) according to Claim 7,
    whereby the base plate (2) has at least one curvature (7).
  9. Connecting terminal (9) with a contact element (1) according to one of Claims 1 to 8,
    with a clamping frame (10) having an inlying cutout (12) which functions as an accommodating space for at least a first conductor (L1),
    whereby a clamping means (13) is arranged on the clamping frame (10), and in the recess (3) fixes - in at least a non-positive and electrically conductive manner - an insulated first conductor (L1) to be inserted, by interrupting its insulation.
  10. Connecting terminal (9) according to Claim 9,
    whereby the clamping frame (10) has a single-limb profile.
  11. Connecting terminal (9) according to one of Claims 9 or 10,
    whereby the clamping means (13) is configured as a clamping screw or lever.
  12. Connecting terminal (9) according to one of Claims 9 to 11,
    whereby the clamping frame (10) is provided with at least one further cutout (15) functioning as an accommodating space, having a first segment for inserting a further insulating conductor (L3) and a second tapered segment adjacent to the first segment, its diameter being dimensioned such that if a clamping means (13) is activated, the insulation of the further conductor (L3) is interrupted at its edges and an electrically conductive contact is produced between the base plate (2) and the further conductor (L3).
  13. Connecting terminal (9) according to Claim 12,
    whereby the further cutout (15) has at least approximately the shape of a keyhole.
  14. Method for contacting a first conductor (L1) with a contact element (1),
    whereby the first conductor (L1) is aligned longitudinally to the recess (3) in a first step,
    whereby in a second step a force (F) is exerted by a clamping means (13) onto the first conductor (L1) and its insulation in an approximately perpendicular direction to the longitudinal axis of the recess (3),
    whereby the insulation of the first conductor (L1) is interrupted on at least one longitudinal edge (4) of the recess (3),
    whereby an electrically conductive part of the first conductor (L1) is contacted by at least one longitudinal edge (4) of the recess (3), and
    whereby when a first conductor (L1) is accommodated, limbs (5) of the base plate (2) which are formed by the recess (3) form an electrically conductive pressure connection with said first conductor (L1).
