Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a process for plasma coating a turbine blade directed along a blade axis by means of thermal plasma spraying. The invention relates also a coating device for carrying out of the procedure.
an.
A coating process for plasma coating a turbine blade
is apparent from
Die US-PS 4,683,148 offenbart die Verwendung von zwei Plasmabrennern.U.S. Patent 4,683,148 discloses the use of two Plasma torches.
enthalten.DE 40 40 893 A1 discloses that more than two burners can be used to produce different, surprisingly advantageous structures by the development of vortex-like mixed microstructure.
To what extent three burners can be controlled, about it no indications are given. The two or more burners are used to irradiate one and the same area with streams of particles containing different materials.
The object of the invention is to specify a method for Plasma coating of a turbine blade, in particular an improved quality of thermal plasma spraying applied coating has resulted. Further task The invention is the specification of a coating device to carry out this process.
According to the invention, the object directed to a method solved by specifying a method for plasma coating a turbine blade directed along a blade axis, at least three plasma torches for thermal Plasma spraying can be used simultaneously, at least two of the plasma torches are controlled independently of each other become.
The object directed to a coating apparatus is solved according to the invention by specifying a coating device for coating a turbine blade by means of a Method according to one of the possibilities described above.
The embodiments of points A) to M) can also be used with each other be combined in any way.
- FIG 1
- eine Beschichtungsvorrichtung zum thermischen Plasmaspritzen,
- FIG 2-4
- FIG. 1
- a coating device for thermal plasma spraying,
- FIGS. 2-4
- A method of coating a turbine blade using three plasma torches, each with a different plasma torch mobility.
The same reference numerals have in the various figures same meaning.
Figur 1 zeigt eine Beschichtungsvorrichtung 1. Die Beschichtungsvorrichtung
1 weist eine Beschichtungskammer 3 auf. Mit
der Beschichtungskammer 3 ist vakuumdicht eine Vorkammer 5
verbunden. In der Beschichtungskammer 3 ist eine entlang einer
Schaufelachse 9 gerichtete Turbinenschaufel 11 angeordnet.
angeordnet. Ein dritter Plasmabrenner 23 ist am Brennermanipulator
17 angeordnet. Die drei Plasmabrenner 19, 21, 23 sind
voneinander entkoppelt und damit unabhängig voneinander ansteuerbar
und beweglich.FIG. 1 shows a
Beschichtung mittels dreier Plasmabrenner 19, 21, 23 qualitativ
besonders hochwertige Beschichtungen der Turbinenschaufel
11 erreicht. Dies betrifft insbesondere eine Reduzierung des
sogenannten Oversprays, d.h. Bereiche, in denen eine zu hohe
Schichtdicke durch mehrfaches Übersprühen bei Verwendung nur
eines Brenners auftritt. Durch Verwendung mehrerer Brenner
und insbesondere durch die Aufteilung der Plasmabrenner 19
und 21 zur Beschichtung des Schaufelblattes der Turbinenschaufel
11 einerseits und der Verwendung des dritten Plasmabrenners
23 zur Beschichtung der Plattformen der Turbinenschaufel
11 wird dieses Overspray stark reduziert. Weiterhin
auf der Turbinenschaufel 11.While it is in a conventional coating process
with only one plasma torch to quality degradation in the coating

Figure 2 shows a structurally particularly simple way of installation

Dies geschieht in
besonders gleichmäßiger Weise durch alle drei Plasmabrenner
19, 21, 23 gleichzeitig.

Schaufelachse 9 aufgespannt wird.FIG. 3 shows a modification of the
As a further modification, FIG. 4 shows a joint mobility
