Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung zur Herstellung von Flachbandkabeln, bei denen in einer Kunststoffumhüllung mehrere metallische Leiter nebeneinander angeordnet sind, durch Belegung eines bandförmigen Trägers mit elektrischen Leitern und deren Befestigung mit einer Kunststoffschmelze. Es ist die Aufgabe der Erfindung, Flachbandkabel in einfacherer Technik und mit leicht modifizierbaren Werkzeugen frei von Lufteinschlüssen und ohne Verwndung von Kleber herzustellen. Die Erfindung besteht darin, daß eine Kunststoffolie in einem Spalt zwischen einer Walze und einer Formleiste mit den metallischen elektrischen Leitern zusammengeführt und zu einem Verbundprodukt verbunden wird, daß dieses Vorprodukt in demselben Spalt zwischen der Walze und der Formleiste mit einer Kunststoffmasse in plastischem Zustand so zusammengeführt und beschichtet wird,daß die Leiter allseitig eingehüllt sind und ein Flachbandkabel bilden. Mit diesen Vorgang läßt sich pro blemlos lufteinschlußfreie Ware in einfacher Weise mit geringem maschinellem Aufwand herstellen. Mit diesem Vorgang läßt sich ebenfalls problemlos und ohne Maschinenumstellung Ware beliebiger Breite mit beliebiger Leiteranzahl fertigen. Hierbei geht man so vor, daß man Folie an einem Ort, an dem sie bereits die Walze teilweise umschlingt, vor dem Spalt zwischen der Walze und der Formleiste mit den metallischen Leitern belegt und daß man dieses Vorprodukt in diesem Spalt zwischen der Walze und der Formleiste mit einer Kunststoffmasse in plastischem Zustand zusammenführt und beschichtet.

It is the object of the invention to produce ribbon cables with simpler technology and with easily modifiable tools, free of air pockets and without using glue. The invention consists in that a plastic film is brought together in a gap between a roller and a molding with the metallic electrical conductors and connected to form a composite product such that this preliminary product is brought together in the same gap between the roller and the molding with a plastic mass in a plastic state and coated that the conductors are wrapped on all sides and form a ribbon cable. With this process, air-free goods can be easily produced with little mechanical effort. With this process, goods of any width with any number of conductors can also be easily and without machine changeover. The procedure here is to cover the film with the metallic conductors in a place where it is already partially wrapped around the roller, in front of the gap between the roller and the molding bar, and to have this preliminary product in this gap between the roller and the molding bar merges and coated with a plastic mass in a plastic state.
