Claims (14)

  1. Table having a table top (14, 14a) which is carried by standing legs (12, 12a) and can be split and which at a distance (z) from the edge (16) of the top is provided with a laterally accessible recess (30, 30a, 30b) and associated with the latter is at least one dividing line (20) of the table top, the table top portions (18, 18a) being held relative to each other by supporting elements (38, 40; 46, 48) arranged on the table top (14, 14a), characterised in that the recess (30, 30a, 30b) is designed as an aperture for a trunk (B1) and the supporting elements (38, 40; 46, 48) are telescopically variable in length, the supporting elements (38, 40; 46, 48) being designed as separate parts and fixed to the lower surface (15) of the table top (14, 14a).
  2. Table according to claim 1, characterised in that at least one of the supporting elements (38, 40) is connected to a standing leg (12a).
  3. Table according to claim 1 or 2, characterised by angle elements (36) each consisting of a standing leg (12a) and a supporting element (38).
  4. Table according to any of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the table top (14a) is supported by two separate frames (34) which each include two supporting elements (38, 40; 46, 48) that can be inserted in each other telescopically.
  5. Table according to any of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that a square tube of one standing leg (12a) mounted on a table top portion (18a) is designed as an angle piece (36) and receives an angle arm (40) of the other standing leg which is in turn fixed to the lower surface (15) of another table top portion (18a) of the table top (14a).
  6. Table according to any of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that, in addition to standing legs (12a) fixed directly to the lower surface (15) of the table top (14a), in the lower surface run separate groove-like guide rails (46) with each of which is coaxially associated an insertion profile (48) of the other table top portion (18a).
  7. Table according to any of claims 1 to 6, characterised by a circular recess (30) designed with variable size in the table top (14).
  8. Table according to claim 1 or 7, characterised in that a diameter line (D) of the recess (30) defines the position of the dividing line (20).
  9. Table according to any of claims 1 to 8, characterised in that at least partial inserts (24, 24a, 25) can be joined to the inner edges of the table top (14, 14a) defined by the dividing line (20).
  10. Table according to claim 9, characterised in that an inner edge (26, 26a) of the insert (24, 24a) defines the recess (30, 30a).
  11. Table according to any of claims 1 to 10, characterised in that the recess (30) is defined both by parts of the recess edge (32) and by the inner edges (26) of the inserts (24).
  12. Table according to any of claims 1 to 11, characterised in that the recess (30) is defined by inner edges (26a) of the insert (24a) and by inner edges of the table top portions (18a).
  13. Table according to any of claims 1 to 12, characterised in that the recess (30b) is provided partially in an insert board (25) of the table (10a) and at least two such insert boards run between the table top portions (18, 18a) and define the recess.
  14. Table according to any of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that there is provided a pairing of two angle pieces of which the angle arms (38, 40) can be inserted in each other telescopically.
