Claims (11)
- Kalander mit einer beheizten Walze und einem flexiblen Mantel, der unter der Wirkung einer Andruckanordnung über einen vorbestimmten Umfangsbereich an der Walze anliegt, wobei zwischen der Walze und dem Mantel ein Breitnip ausgebildet ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Mantel (3) in einem Arbeitsbereich (A), der zwischen zwei axialen Randbereichen (R) angeordnet ist, eine größere Dicke als in den Randbereichen (R) aufweist und im Arbeitsbereich (A) radial über die Randbereiche (R) vorsteht.
- Kalander nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß zwischen dem Arbeitsbereich (A) und den Randbereichen (R) jeweils ein Übergangsbereich (U) vorgesehen ist, in dem die Dicke des Mantels (3) stetig zunimmt.
- Kalander nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Mantel (3) zumindest im Bereich der Andruckanordnung (6) auf seiner Innenseite in Axialrichtung eine Gerade bildet.
- Kalander nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Mantel (3) auf seiner Innenseite über den gesamten Umfang in Axialrichtung unverformt ist.
- Kalander nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Mantel (3) im Bereich seiner axialen Enden auf Stützscheiben (11) geführt ist, die gegenüber der Walze (2) radial verlagerbar sind.
- Kalander nach Anspruch 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß ein Träger (8) den Mantel (3) in Axialrichtung durchsetzt und die Stützscheiben (11) in Pressenrichtung (15) auf dem Träger (8) verlagerbar sind.
- Kalander nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß eine Gegenschuhanordnung (16) auf den Mantel (3) wirkt, deren Wirkrichtung der Wirkrichtung der Andruckanordnung (6) entgegengesetzt ist.
- Kalander nach Anspruch 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Andruckanordnung (6) und die Gegenschuhanordnung (16) miteinander synchronisiert sind.
- Verfahren zum Betreiben eines Kalanders mit einer Walze und einem flexiblen Mantel, den man unter Ausbildung eines Breitnips über einen vorbestimmten Umfangsabschnitt an den Umfang der Walze anlegt, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man den Mantel anlegt, ohne seine Form in Axialrichtung zu ändern.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man den Mantel anlegt, ohne seine Form zu ändern.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 9 oder 10, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man den Breitnip öffnet, indem alle Bereiche des Mantels um einen gleichen Betrag von der Walze weg bewegt werden.
