Definitions
- the invention relates to a gas turbine with a compressor, an annular combustion chamber and a turbine part.
- the invention also relates to a method for damping vibrations of an annular combustion chamber of a gas turbine.
- thermoacoustic vibrations are also called combustion vibrations.
- combustion vibrations are not only an undesirable sound source, but can also lead to impermissibly high mechanical loads on the combustion chamber.
- thermoacoustic oscillation is actively damped in that the location of the heat release fluctuation associated with the combustion is controlled by injecting a fluid.
- the object of the invention is to provide a gas turbine with an annular combustion chamber which is particularly robust against combustion vibrations. Another object of the invention is to provide a method for damping the vibration of an annular combustion chamber of a gas turbine.
- the object directed to a gas turbine is achieved by specifying a gas turbine with a compressor, an annular combustion chamber and a turbine part, the annular combustion chamber having an outer wall with an outer surface and the annular combustion chamber being surrounded on its outer surface by a clamping ring.
- the outer surface preferably has a cylindrical contact surface on which the clamping ring rests. With such a cylindrical contact surface, the clamping ring rests non-slip. Since the clamping ring force acts radially inwards, there will otherwise be a risk of slipping on a beveled support surface for the clamping ring.
- the cylindrical contact surface is further preferably formed by a rib running in the circumferential direction.
- the clamping ring is preferably constructed from at least two clamping ring segments along its circumferential direction. This enables a simplified assembly of the clamping ring.
- the clamping ring segments are further preferably connected by a clamping device. This tensioning device is used to set a preload in the tensioning ring and thus, in particular, also to set vibration forms particularly suitable for energy dissipation.
- the clamping ring preferably has a recess in such a way that it rests with the recess at least partially surrounding the rib on the rib. This leads to a further improved support for the clamping ring.
- the tensioning device preferably has a pull rod which engages in a pulling eye, a prestressing force being set between the pull rod and pulling eye by means of a spring. More preferably, the towing eye is slidably arranged in elongated holes.
- the object directed to a method is achieved by specifying a method for damping vibrations of an annular combustion chamber of a gas turbine, in which a dissipation of by setting a clamping force on a clamping ring running around the outer circumference of the annular combustion chamber Vibration energy of the ring combustion chamber is caused by friction on the clamping ring and thus the damping of the vibration.
- the tensioning force is preferably adjusted to a prevailing oscillation frequency.
- FIG. 1 shows a gas turbine
- FIG. 2 shows an outer wall of the combustion chamber with a clamping ring
- FIG. 3 shows a clamping ring segment with a securing eye
- FIG. 4 shows a clamping ring seated on a rib in a cross section
- FIG. 5 shows the connection of two clamping ring segments and FIG. 6 shows a further connection of two clamping ring segments.
- FIG. 1 schematically shows a gas turbine 3 in a longitudinal section.
- the gas turbine 3 is directed along an axis 5 and, when connected in series, has a compressor 7, an annular combustion chamber 9 and a turbine part 11. Air 13 is sucked in by the compressor 7 and highly compressed. The highly compressed air 13 is fed to the annular combustion chamber 9. There it is burned with the addition of fuel. The resulting hot exhaust gas 15 is fed to the turbine part 11.
- the ring burner 9 has an outer wall 23 with an outer surface 25.
- a rib 29 runs in the circumferential direction on the outer surface 25 and has a cylindrical has contact surface 28.
- a clamping ring 27 surrounding the annular combustion chamber 9 rests on the cylindrical contact surface 28.
- Flame instabilities can occur during combustion in the annular combustion chamber 9, which in turn result in pressure pulsations in the annular combustion chamber 9.
- the pressure pulsations reflected by the ring combustion chamber wall are also reflected back to the location of the combustion. There, with the correct phase position, they can amplify flame instabilities in such a way that a stable combustion oscillation is built up by the feedback system.
- This combustion oscillation can be so significant that damaging vibrations are built up in the gas turbine 3.
- the ring combustion chamber 9 in particular is exposed to these vibrations.
- the vibrations are also transmitted to the ribs 29 and lead to friction of the tension ring 27 on the cylindrical contact surface 28. As a result, vibrational energy of the annular combustion chamber vibration is converted into heat and the vibration is thus damped.
- the clamping ring 27 does not require any external support points, ie no external compensation of thermally induced relative movements is required. This is particularly important if the external bases would only temporarily accept a significantly different temperature level than to 'damped structure. In this case, it would not be possible to compensate for the differences in elongation with reasonable effort.
- the friction of the clamping ring 27 on the rib 29 arises from the fact that the neutral fibers on the one hand of the rib 29 and on the other hand of the clamping ring 27 lie on different diameters. Now there is vibration excitation during operation and consequently elastic deformations, e.g. B. ovalize, the outer wall 23, the clamping ring 27 follows this deformation, the radius of curvature of the contact surface 28 changes cyclically.

- FIG. 3 shows a clamping ring segment 27d.
- the clamping ring segment 27d has a recess 81 at one end, with which it can be connected to an adjacent clamping ring segment via bolts 83.
- a connection to an adjacent clamping ring segment is also possible via a taper 85 of the clamping ring segment thickness and a bore 87.
- the clamping ring segment 27d has an engagement groove 89 which engages with a guide lug 91 when the clamping ring segment 27d is installed.
- the guide tab 91 enables a positive guidance of the clamping ring segment 27d along the circumference during assembly. In the lower part of the outer wall 23, the guide tabs 91 prevent the clamping ring segment 27d from pivoting away during assembly. This measure will of course also apply to the others
- FIG. 4 shows in a cross section how the clamping ring 27 is seated on the rib 29.
- the clamping ring 27 has a recess 30 on its underside.
- the recess 30 is formed by two webs 71 running on the underside of the clamping ring 27 in the axial direction in the circumferential direction.
- the webs 71 encompass the rib 29.
- the rib 29 is formed from two circumferentially circumferential, axially spaced rib webs 29a, between which a U-shaped support part 29b which is open in the radial direction and is offset downward is fastened.
- the U-shaped support part 29b has the contact surface 28 on its radially outer surface.
- the clamping ring 27 has a width of approximately 70 mm in the axial direction.
- the height of the clamping ring 27 in the radial direction including the lugs 71 enclosing the rib 29 is approximately 80 mm, while the radial height H1 of the clamping ring 27 without the lugs 71 is approximately 60 mm.
- FIG. 5 shows a segment connection designed as a coupling member 51 between two clamping ring segments 27d, 27e.

Description
Beschreibung
