Definitions
- the invention relates to a chair, in particular an office chair.
- the invention has for its object a chair with a headrest to create their height and angle of inclination as easily adjustable are.
- the essence of the invention is in a headrest at the same time a height adjustment device and a tilt adjustment device provided.
- a chair 1 shown in FIG. 1, in particular an office chair, has one Base frame 2, which is supported by rollers 3 against the floor.
- a height-adjustable chair column 4 is attached to the base frame 2 whose upper end a seat support 5 is releasably attached, on the turn a padded seat 6 is attached.
- a substantially upward-extending backrest support 7 attached to which a padded backrest 8 is attached.
- a headrest support 9 is attached to the end of the backrest support 7, on which a headrest 10 is attached.
- the backrest support 7 has two essentially vertical and parallel to each other, up to to the upper end of the backrest 8 extending spars 11 on the their upper end each pass into a headrest bracket 12.
- the brackets 12 go continuously in at their upper end Tapered, horizontally running shaft mounting press bearing 13 over.
- the free ends 14 of the bearings 13 are facing each other.
- the headrest 10 is supported relative to the brackets 12 and connected to them.
- the headrest 10 has a frame 15 which is parallel to one another by two running pairs of rails 16 and two connecting them Cross bars 17 is formed.
- the rails 16 are curved and consist, for example, of spring steel sheet.
- the rails 16 of a pair of rails run parallel one above the other.
- the cross bars 17 each have the shape of an elongated cuboid, the end via the connection points 18 with the rails 16th protrudes.
- a shaft 19 is between the two pairs of rails 16 passed through and has pins 20 at both ends, which in corresponding Recesses 21 of the bearing 13 are fixed with a press fit. The shaft 19 is thus essentially non-rotatable relative to the bearings 13 attached.
- the frame 15 is connected to the shaft 19 via two pairs of friction guide shoes 22 connected.
- the shoes 22 each have one in the middle Bore 23 through which the shaft 19 is guided.
- the shoes 22 point on mutually facing sides each have two grooves 24, the depth of which is slightly smaller than half the width of the rails 16.
- Two each Shoes 22 are joined together by two screws 25 to form a pair 26 connected. Enclose the total of four grooves 24 of a pair 26 - forming two channels - the two rails 26.
- Through the screws 25 is the friction between the shoes 22 and the rails 16 adjustable.
- the pairs 26 are displaceable on the rails 16 against a counterforce and form a height adjustment device for the headrest 10.
- the friction between the rails 16 and the two pairs 26 is set so that the headrest 10 is in relation to the outwardly supported shaft 19 without any external force in any preset position remains stationary.
- the shoes 22 have on their inner end faces 27 in the region of the bore 23 a conical extension 28 of the bore 23. Between the Shaft 19 on the one hand and the two shoes 22 of a pair 26 on the other this creates an annular chamber in which a rubber ring 29 is set. Due to the tapered surfaces of the chamber in the Area of extension 28 is the rubber ring 29 when screwing two shoes 22 pressed against the shaft 19, whereby a predetermined Frictional force between the shaft 19 and the frame 15 adjustable is. Since the shaft 19 is fixed against the bearing 13 in a rotationally fixed manner the headrest 10 can only be pivoted about a force around the shaft 19. Without external force, the headrest 10 remains in any preset Inclination position with an inclination angle a compared to Vertical. In this respect, the shaft 19 forms together with the shoes 22 an inclination adjustment device for adjusting the inclination angle a the headrest 10.
- the frame 15 is a multi-part, for example made of wood Fairing disguised.
- On the top of the upper cross member 17 and the underside of the lower cross member 17 are two semi-cylindrical Profiles 30 attached.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a chair, in particular an office chair.
Chairs with headrests have been known for a long time. The headrests point usually have the disadvantage that the height adjustment is usually complicated via locking mechanisms. An inclination adjustment is in the Usually not possible.
The invention has for its object a chair with a headrest to create their height and angle of inclination as easily adjustable are. The essence of the invention is in a headrest at the same time a height adjustment device and a tilt adjustment device provided.
Further advantageous embodiments of the invention result from the Dependent claims.
A chair 1 shown in FIG. 1, in particular an office chair, has one
einander zugewandt. Die Kopfstütze 10 ist gegenüber den Bügeln 12 abgestützt
und mit diesen verbunden. The following is the structure with reference to Figures 2 to 5
the
19 ohne äußere Krafteinwirkung in jeder beliebigen voreingestellten Position
ortsfest verharrt.The
Vertikalen.
der Kopfstütze 10.The
Stoff bespannt.The
ortsfest. The operation of the headrest is described in more detail below.
In order to change the height of the
an.
Due to the curvature of the
