Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a device for preventing mutual vertical Sliding of the front surfaces (climbing) from equipped with buffers Rail vehicles in frontal collisions using horizontal ones Ribs.
Since rail vehicles generally for the formation of longer train groups and thus designed to transmit the resulting high longitudinal forces are in the height range of pulling and pushing devices reinforced bases. Depending on the design of the vehicle, one combines Underframe a large part of the strength of the vehicle structure in yourself. If such a vertical offset of the frontal collisions Underframes occur that they can slide over one another (climbing or overbuffering), only the often much less stable ones are left Superstructures of the vehicles available to reduce the collision energy, which drastically aggravates the consequences of the accident.
The use of panels with horizontal ribs on the front of rail vehicles is basically a common approach to preventing climbing. The prerequisite for this is that these plates mutually so far can approximate that their ribs engage and so vertical forces can transmit. However, in normal operation of coupled vehicles must get caught because of the risk of impermissible wheel relief the ribs are excluded. For vehicles with central buffer coupling there are solutions for this with a specially coordinated spring characteristic, mostly realized by separate spring stages. The first stage only allows the strokes required for operation without the risk of the ribs getting caught. Subsequent elements enable a defined one to be exceeded Responsiveness that is higher than the maximum operational force, further Stroke until the ribs come into contact.
For vehicles with middle buffer clutches that are in mixed operation with vehicles traffic with side buffers are often in the nominal position for Side baffle baffles arranged to with occasional touches Side buffers to avoid damage. Common practice is therefore to protect against climbing simply in connection with the coupling characteristics described above by arranging ribs on the baffle plates. The disadvantage of most of the devices implemented is that they only work during a collision Establish positive locking with similarly equipped vehicles can, but not with normal page buffers with a smooth surface, which is also lubricated. A further development that has this disadvantage has been eliminated in the EU-funded BRITE-EURAM research project "Safetrain" successfully tested. Here the baffle plate with ribs was in the height is increased so that it hits the buffer plate above and below survives and is pressed by this in the middle so that the Ribs can enclose the edge of the buffer plate in a form-fitting manner.
The magazine ZEV + DET Glas. Ann. 119 (1995) page 305 - see in particular Figures 5 and 6 - a rail vehicle (TGV DUPLEX) can be seen, in which a powered head car and an adjacent middle car cannot be separated operationally by a screw coupling and special Page buffers are coupled together. Through one of these special designs catcher associated with buffers becomes overbuffering and This prevents the connected car bodies from climbing up. The one on the middle car attached safety gear already enclose in the regular Operation the buffer plate of the head carriage, the height of which is therefore opposite the standard version is reduced. Due to the asymmetrical arrangement and the required special dimensions, this principle is not for free in-line vehicles applicable.
Based on the functional principle implemented with medium buffer couplings the invention is based on the task of climbing vehicles with common side buffers, which are used for operational pressure transmission between the individual vehicles are safe to avoid.
This object is achieved in that the ribs of the Rib plate enclose the buffers from above and below, the buffers at defines a limited level of force at least up to the base of the ribs are impressible.
Advantageous embodiments of the invention are specified in the subclaims.

Dementsprechend
