Description

Domaine de l'inventionField of the invention

The invention comes from the field of equilibration of small and medium-tonnage vessels, such as motorboats, and in particular roll balancing, that is to say, lodging.

Art antérieur et problème poséPrior art and problem

Indeed, with reference to FIG. 1 reproducing the system used in this document, the balancing elements consist of two trains or series of rollers 19, rolling on a track consisting, for example, of two lateral rails 25 and 26. A cable 4, driven by means of a motor 10, by means of a motor drum 9, makes it possible to move the rollers 19, on either side of the ship. A locking system in position 34, using two jaws 37, is placed between the two sets of rollers 19 and controlled by the cable 4. The immobilization of the assembly is done by bringing the jaws 34 against a central positioning rail 30 placed longitudinally above the device. When the cable is not tight, the The jaws 34 clamp the central positioning rail 30. Two lateral electric cylinders 14 are also used on this device to tension the cable at its two ends by means of a sheave 5 fixed to the rod of the jack. Several of these devices can be mounted in parallel in boxes of the same ship, forming part of the bridge structure thereof.

It is easy to understand that, during a tension of the cable, the two clamping jaws 37 move away from each other to release the device relative to the central positioning rail 30. The set of rollers 19 can then be moved by a pull, on one side or the other, of the cable 4. The suppression of the voltage, voluntary or caused by the breaking of a strand of the cable 4, causes the automatic locking of the clamping jaws 37 against the central positioning rail 30, in the close position.

Un unique câble 2 sert à tracter le train et à commander le desserrage des mâchoires 16.Moreover, in the French patent application 2 802 504 of the same applicant, an improvement of such a device is described, as shown in FIG. 2. It also comprises a mobile lead mass train 12, but completed at each end. by a pair of jaws 16 bearing against the side rails of a box. A single cable 2 serves to tow the train and to control the loosening of the jaws 16.

These ship balancing devices are suitable for large ships. The application of such devices to ships of medium and especially low tonnages would lead, by their size, a significant loss of volume within the ship. In addition, the control system of the cable winch and cable tension are relatively sophisticated and do not seem to have any reason to be in the case of a small vessel. The object of the invention is therefore to overcome these disadvantages by proposing another vessel balancing device applicable and adapted to small tonnage vessels.

Accordingly, in this case, the moving masses preferably have eight rollers rolling four by four on two internal faces of two opposite sides of the box.

Description détaillée de l'inventionDetailed description of the invention

The device according to the invention is still based on a train system formed by carriages each consisting of a mass moving from one side to the other of the ship.

It can be seen that the moving mass train moves in a U-shaped way. The latter is placed horizontally in the ship, so that the two lateral branches 50 of the U are parallel and placed near the edges of the ship, that is to say each wedged against an inner wall of the ship. A central section 52 connects the two lateral branches 50 of the U. Between the two lateral branches 50 and the central section 52, the path makes an angle of 90 °. To make the corresponding turn, there are two chain wheels 60, at least one is driving, preferably both, and around which the mass train 40 will wrap when it passes central section 52 to one of two lateral branches 50.

The movements of the train 40 are made by means of the driving wheels 40. A tensioning cable 70 connects the two ends of the train 40. Its circuit consists of a loop which is closed by making a U inside that traveled by the train 40. Indeed, the cable is stretched at the ends of the two lateral branches 50 of the U by a movable sheave 73 around which the cable 70 is a half turn. In its inner path, the cable 70 performs the U-shaped path by means of two internal diverting wheels 74. The movable sheaves 73 are held in place elastically, each by means of a tension cylinder 71, via A spring 72. Thus, the cable is maintained at a determined tension, depending on whether the train 40 is to be immobilized or moved.

In fact, an increased tension of the cable 70 may make it possible to loosen the train immobilization system 40. In this case, a rotation of the drive wheels 60 allows the movement of the train 40 along the three wheels. parts 50 and 52 of the U. A loosening of the tension of the cable 70 allows, once the train 40 is in the desired position, to block in this position by a relaxation of the clamping system which resumes its natural locking position. The detailed operation of such a system is explained in the French patent application published under the number 2 802 504.

In Figure 3 two systems have been represented in the same vessel. This is only an example of embodiment, one or more than two systems could be installed on board the same ship.

Figure 4 shows, in detail, a part of the path of the moving mass train, in particular around a drive wheel 60. This is shown with a number of teeth 63 protruding outside thereof. Inside the drive wheel 60 is a ring gear 64 into which a motor gear 62 engages with a much smaller number of teeth than the inner ring 64 so as to constitute a reduction gear.

The different moving masses 41 forming the train are attached to each other by a coupling pin 42 around which each can pivot relative to each other. They thus form a chain resembling a gourmette. On the side of the driving wheel 60, each mobile mass 41 has a housing 43 whose shape is in correspondence with the shape of the teeth 63 of the drive wheel 60, and more precisely in correspondence with the movement of each tooth 63 in each cavity 43, during pivoting of the movable masses 41 in the turning which carries the train. Indeed, when the movable mass train 41 takes the turn around the driving wheel 60, each mobile mass 41 pivots 90 ° to be able to pass from a lateral branch 50 to the central horizontal section 52.

Ainsi, les profilés servent de rails au train de masses mobiles 41.To guide each movable mass 21, during its movements on the lateral branches and the horizontal section, two opposite sides of a profile are used on which roll, for each mobile mass 41, four rollers 44. Thus, the profiles serve as rails to the moving mass train 41.

Indeed, there are distinguished the rollers 44 rolling on the top of the opposite sides 51 of the profile and rotatably mounted in the base of a moving mass 41. There is also shown in this Figure 5, a tooth 63 of the driving zone 60 penetrating in the corresponding housing 43 of the moving mass, the driving gear 62 and the inner ring 64 of the same drive wheel 60.

In this case, three devices 80 have been installed. The main difference, in comparison with the installation described by the preceding figures, consists in placing the lateral branches vertically. Indeed, it can be seen that side boxes 82 are placed on the inner wall 85 of the hull of the ship. They surround each one a mass mobile 81 symbolizing the moving mass train moving. It should be noted that, in this version, eight casters are essential to bear on both sides of the side boxes 82. It should be noted that in this installation mode, the motorization must be a little more powerful given the weight of the moving masses 81 which must be mounted inside the side boxes 82.

In the two embodiments described, it is advantageous to drive the driving wheels 60 by using reversible hydraulic motors, powered by a pressure generating system capable of providing the power required for acceleration and starting, as well as storing the engine. braking energy. A pump allows to recharge them permanently. The fact of using two driving wheels 60 allows a redundancy of the drive system, in case of deficiency or failure of one of them.
