Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a magnetic closure, in particular for use as Furniture and housing fitting, with one made of a plastic, im general shaft-shaped housing with at least one held in this Permanent magnet and optionally with a counterpart.
The doors of furniture and enclosures, this is especially true for the doors of Bathroom cabinets and photocopier housings are becoming increasingly popular Dimension not with lock and key, but closed with magnetic systems. When opening and closing this eliminates the need to turn a key. When opening a door with magnetic lock, the door only with little effort released from their magnetic lock and then in a known manner be swung open. To close the door is pivoted in the closed position. The closing movement ends with heavy noise when striking the counterpart on the permanent magnet. Because of the catching effect at the end of the closing path with heavy noise are the for this used Maagnetsysteme also called Magnetschnäpper. In the state of Technology is the permanent magnet systems, consisting of two steel pole plates with intermediate permanent magnet held in an open housing or are free and visible. The steel counterparts are also free and are recognizable as such. To suppress this from many users As ugly perceived appearance magnets are in high quality Furniture covered with a veneer or covered with spatula. In series production is overfurning because of the difficulty of this process and the associated costs. To get a high enough Magnetic or closing force, the veneer or the filler layer must be very thin being held. Only then does the magnetic force come in the last area of the closing movement still sufficient to effect. That's why these are covered too Maagnete as well as the uncovered magnets have the disadvantage, that their effect ends with noise.
Starting from this prior art, the invention is based on the object form a magnetic closure so that the magnetic attraction increases more slowly during the last part of the closing movement or when opening slower than in the prior art. In addition, should the on impact of the permanent magnet or the magnetic part the counterpart noise reduced or even avoided become. Next, the appearance should be improved.
The solution to this problem results in a magnetic closure of the beginning mentioned genus according to the invention in that the permanent magnet consists of a high - energy magnetic material and the shaft on his Working end is closed by a head. Another invention Solution is that the permanent magnet of a high-energy Magnetic material is made and the shaft is open at its working end and having a collar.
Permanent magnets made of a high-energy magnetic substance with attractive forces, significantly higher than those of conventional permanent magnets Hard ferrite-based, have been on the market for some time. The high magnetic Attraction also on removal of this high-energy magnetic material existing permanent magnets allows their use in one by a head closed shaft or in one at its working end open and there provided with a collar shaft. The permanent magnet completely covering head and the view of the permanent magnet constraining collars add to the desired good looks. The high magnetic attraction even at a distance leaves itself by the head or the collar resulting greater distance to the counterpart and remains so great that it becomes sufficiently effective. The bigger one Final distance between permanent magnet and counterpart even in the closed position leads to a gradual increase and decrease of the closing force during the last part of the route. This and the elasticity of the head and the collar-forming material virtually reduces the noise on the value zero. The desired goals are thus with both invention Achieved embodiments.
In the head having the first embodiment, this has a flat Face on or has lens shape. In this embodiment, the permanent magnet with some tension inserted into the open end of the shaft and held at the end of his work by the head. In the second embodiment with open working end a ring is inserted in this end. The permanent magnet lies against this ring and is thereby held in its desired position.
In the second embodiment, the collar is expedient axially slightly before. As a result, the desired greater distance to the counterpart is achieved. Further an axially protruding collar makes the unwanted view of the free one difficult End of the permanent magnet.
The inventive permanent magnet consisting of a high-energy magnetic material contains a rare earth metal. This is neodymium, which is expediently present as Nd 2 Fe 24 B, in the form of a neodymium iron boron compound.
In both embodiments, the stem may be on two opposite ones To be axially slotted to form Spreizschlitzen. This facilitates its insertion into holes in doors. The elasticity of the shaft forming Plastic leads to a widening of the shaft in the bore and favors his secure hold.
